Roulette - I’ve been here, but Perhaps I’m a bit slow, and the penny just dropped:)!
The data presented in the poster for the Brazil congress suggests that a blend of 75 MOP to 25 Poly4 is better than Poly4 alone, and MOp and SOP. Suggests blends may be the way forwards for us.
I wonder if the FT article is a sign of ICL up to their old tricks again? From blocking our planning application to now trying to get the funding for the mine derailed? After all, who would benefit the most from Sxx failing? They’d have the market all to themselves! Just a nice conspiracy theory to end the week:)!
NOT TO
ChrisFrance You are right to remind us all it to get carried away by our enthusiasm, and be objective, which most people here are Id say.
Hi JimV, Now that you mention it, it was a set-up because all the immediate comments echoed what he was saying in the article. Was obviously trying to influence the sp. Question is why? Who would be behind it I wonder?
SP wants to do a catch-up in a hurry after the drop recently. Can’t have been the FT article obviously. If it was bonds being converted, expect the cycle to repeat...
DickyBoy I agree with you. We need to be able to listen and examine views contrary to our own - keeps us sharp. We learn more from our critics than from our friends. I am a LTH here with a significant holding. News imminent here and the sp will respond accordingly - no matter what the FT says!
My understanding is that MOP has 4 times the K value of Poly4, so in theory you need 4 times as much Poly4 if you’re just looking for K. What Sxx has been doing a lot of is is crop trials, with each crop getting either pure Poly4 or a mix of Poly4 and MOP. The results are impressive which is why we have presold £5.7mt so far. The trials also include a cost analysis which shows its financially beneficial to use Poly4. Would appreciate feedback from much more knowledgable folk on here, in this matter.
Myo - thanks for all your due diligence and keeping on top of the planning etc. Also goes to show that while we are fixated on the sp, CF and team are getting on with building a mine! As far as sp movements are concerned I’m relaxed. I recall the endless discussions as it moved between 18 and 20p and Now look where we are. Need a long term view here. If all goes to plan should be between 45-50p by Christmas I reckon. DYOR etc.
Could the price drop reflect the fact that some bond holders are selling up? Be great for us long term if that were the case.
It didn’t mention the many crop trials which validate the benefits of Polyhalite over MOP and SOP. That would have made it more balanced. That aside, it’s good to read an article which highlights the risks and challenges assumptions. Good for CF to rebut the points of criticism. That’s why the sp is under 40p. If it was a done deal it would be £2!
I say this as a LTH for many years. I welcome them because it often means the sp is going to rise, but occasionally because they are a balance against the general euphoria we LTH get into. Lastly because listening to contrary perspectives stops me getting complacent and keeps my mind sharp.
If the price rose Today and there was a strong close, the likelihood of it diving tomorrow are less - but who can read the tea leaves?!
Hi Jenny, The sp climbed at the close, and we can’t really say wat was a Sell or buy from the lse data. I think News is imminent and After that it may fall back and consolidate - in my mind I’m expecting it to got to 45-50p on News of TOrps and ST2 funding. I think our J curve has begun - hang on for the ride and don’t sell- DYOR etc.
Hi Jim, Good to have you on board and hear from you. You echo what many of us think on this board. A likely triply of Share price in 3 years is excellent value - though that has to be balanced against the risk of dilution in raising the money and any problems with the build. Great management team reduce that risk considerably. Good luck!
Myo - loved that program and watched all 3 episodes. Have an even greater respect now for the engineers who make this happen - super sepcialsied in a particular area. It’s also great to know we have all this expertise in the UK itself so don’t need to go far to look for talent.
JY If you take the 3-5yr view, I would buy now and keep accumulating. Short term is harder to predict. DYOR of course.
I’m not sure how to read this RNS? Is it just about Sirius buying a starch binder? In which case it’s hardly BIG news. Or is the long term partnership a real boost for the company? Has ADM committed to any TORP’s?
The leak may not be from Sxx, but those who are about to sign the TORP or ST2 deals. So many many people in the mix..it’s a wonder anything stays quiet at all.
