This is a long term hold for me even if we see 200 sooner than expected.
The share price was 500+ six months ago.
Sorrell and his team have every incentive (reputational, financial, ego, digital disruptors etc) to get this over its previous peak of 800 for a bumper payout, so these current levels are just a gift to the market driven by a combination of growing pains and macro economic issues.
“After all its a loss making, previously high growth company in trouble during an inflationary downturn”
Sfor isn’t loss making and I’m confident the Board will see through this current period. Episodes like this are excellent buying opportunities (no advice offered). Patience is required but SMS is a legend in this sector and not to be underestimated.
They are not the only company in history to have had growing pains on the back of acquisitions. I personally will continue to add at these levels. I have a lot tied up on GCG which is executing a RTO, selfishly hoping the sp stays down here for a while until GCG relists!
No longer timelines than the hydrogen companies with market caps over £500m
I’ve been invested since the IPO (have managed to accumulate in the 90s, wish I had picked up more) but this is definitely the best RNS to date.
This is the road to commercialisation we’ve been waiting. I’m also excited about the commentary about residential energy which is a gigantic market.
Accepted we are a few years off but there are plenty of pre-revenue green tech companies listed (some that were FTSE 250) and here we have a route to £200m in revenue and hopefully much more before production starts.
Hoping this is a true British success story and the start of a sublime rerate in the share price.
GLA.
I suppose two consolations are:
1. We hopefully relist in a much stronger crypto market (the recent recovery is encouraging);
2. GCG are doing their due diligence that what Bolt offer is truly disruptive and/or unique (has some protected characteristics). Ie it’s not just a website which easily replicated features and is scaleable and isn’t just a ‘phew’ cash out for Christel and Jamal and like most recent IPOs the only profitable move is to sell all your holding at 8:01 on the day of relisting.
… a lot of initiative and innovation being shown by Bolt.
GLA
The only positive with this delay will be that we hopefully relist in a better market with improved macro economics and therefore hopefully a better return on our investment. We are £3m market cap on suspension, so prospects are good with some massive insider holds, but it will all depend on the level of dilution.
For my sanity and mental health, I’m having to switch off from this as I have a lot of capital tied in here. I or anyone else cannot do a single thing until it relists so I’m using this as an extended break from the markets. GLA.
No chance of anything end of this months. They’ve already said ‘in the coming months’ for the prospectus which means another few months after that to relist. A year is probably what it will take…
The longer the wait does not mean the longer the multiplier. All will depend on dilution. We were suspended in a very different market to the one we come out of RTO in. GLA
No - it’s pretty clear prospectus will be a few months and then presumably re-listing after that. Terms still not finalised.
One positive is that the current storm in the market may have subdued and so we secure a better valuation on re-listing.
Prospectus to be published in the coming months… We have a bit of a wait on our hands…
Highly unlikely to be 50 bags. That is just unrealistic. But hoping for a multiple from where we left all. Devil will be in the level of dilution.
Encouraging to also see Christel Quek reply to investors on Twitter. Clearly she can’t comment on specifics or anything that is market-sensitive but I welcome the engagement. Fingers crossed everyone the long wait will be over and worth it!
(Trying) to be patient and reminding myself that RTOs can take many, many months… just hope we can release some cash by summer
Could the cyrpto meltdown affect the completion of this deal?
Exceeded my expectations. Intend to buy on open.
Stocks is about £600m in revenue and he led the turnaround. This is currently £60m market cap - crazy!
