Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
fiveeights - I think you are wrong on this occasion as the holding back of accounts is very likely to be holding back of really good news..................who am I trying to kid!!
Having been picked up my negativity on this, and I do think PL deserves a good chunk of criticism, I have no doubt in my mind that IF (big if) the next production figures are better than expected then we might see, in combination with this news, a more impressive rise in the SP. Currently my platform is saying 2.56% which doesn't feel like a boom moment to me.
Sorry quite animated about this today but isn't the announcement timeline something like this:
1 - We've created a company that is wholly owned by PPC and this is the future, well done us aren't you all grateful.
2 - We've given 15% of the company away to another company that is wholly owned by PL, well done us..........
3- What's next?
I'm in and out of companies house with my job so it doesn't take long to find the follow directorships that he has. Sorry if this ****es off the endless positive people but I've been here since 2014 and would class myself as a disgruntled investor and I was trying to find out more about Alpha but there are too many options when you search under that name. We are all invested in the plc version but what are all the others for?

Sorry one last dig - the accounts should also show the figures for the sponsorship deal with Leeds United as this was announced in Sept 2020. Or at least an indication of what's been paid so far.
fiveeights - Those are from the year ending 31 Dec 2019 so presumably there was a pay review at or around 31 December 2019 and then another at or around 31 December 2020?
Accounts year ending 31 Dec 2020 should be out soon and then we'll know!
Tremendous.
This is from page 13 of the accounts

2018 = US$586,000
Robert Shepherd
2019 = US$400,000
2018 = US$248,000
Might provoke a reaction I suspect?
Radio silence on Paraguay not helping. Seemingly so many positives at the moment but promising Paraguay and then going quiet has certainly got me spooked.
No worries CoV. Let's keep the discussions robust and keep the personal sh*t out of it. My portfolio would suggest I'm significantly overweight PPC so I'm hyper keen for this to work and I do think PL has the beans to do it but the frustration is palpable here, especially when Paraguay news is not forthcoming when it's seemingly so close. GLA
Good morning all, seem to have caused a bit of a stir here. Thanks NtM for wading in on my behalf, water off a ducks back to be honest. Google DILLIGAF and watch/listen to the video if you want my honest opinion. CoV - unfortunately a comment like "Like we're bothered what you think." does detract from what your message be it ramping or just positivity. Let's hope for some news of Paraguay soon (seems to have gone quiet?) then we can all feed from PL's trough from here on in.
Easy tiger - just an opinon
"it is not currently envisaged " I would be more tempted to highlight this part of the sentence I'm afraid. Doesn't take much to change this to "is has become apparent that...."
Sorry but I'm not joining the party on this.
Immensely! Thank you very much. Enjoy your weekend.
Guess you are right heading south again. Northern can you say something to cheer me up?
Good luck today all. Will May 7th be declared President Energy day?!?
My hope is for Friday. This is based on a highly scientific basis, being that this week is looking like a turd of a week and I could do with cheering up! GLA
Although are we seeing the Nikita effect this afternoon in the share price?!
Correct - a Russian version of the Cornish (mainly) name Vivien.
Nothing wrong with a bit of Nepotism....is there?
His 'CV' on linkedin (via President Energy's linkedin page) reads quite well.
Some general chat about 25 mins, President at 27.27
