Nice post!

It would make absolutely no sense to go through the rigmarole and significant costs involved in renegotiating the return of SRA737, on substantially better terms, for it then to be shelved yet again! SP has clearly been working diligently and at pace to repatriate the target and get things moving! Very optimistic for rapid progression to a deal in one form or another and to see the creation of long awaited shareholder value.

Given the laser focus on SDC-1801 and the re-start in the development of SDC-1802, there would be absolutely no sense whatsoever in allocating the significant time, effort and financial resource in renegotiating the terms and acquiring the licence from CPF if there is not a very robust indication that SRA737 is likely to be taken forward one way or another.

The last few years of delay and prevarication by Sierra and the mystery US licensee have been intensely frustrating and have cost, not least in terms of patent life, however there may have been progress which has added value but which has not been disclosed.

CPF/Sixth Element Capital are now in the back seat and with Dr Parker calling the shots, the path is clear for him to work his magic!

Seemingly limitless potential for JAK inhibitors!!

The frustration arises from the sudden pivot from Phase 1b to Phase II Ready trials, given that reportedly TM/JR have been in ongoing discussions with Pharma for many years. If this is indeed the case it is reasonable to suppose that Pharma would set out explicitly what they require in terms of data as things progress not wait to the last minute to change expectations. FWIW to some extent the Phase II Ready trial could be the hook on which the latest delay in hanging whilst negotiations for TO carry on behind the scenes.

From 42:18 in the AGM recording SP is indicating that there was interest and excitement in SDC-1801 based on the limited data shared with potential partners PRIOR to receipt of the full Clinical Trial Report on 18/12/2024. Given that potential partners (with whom Sareum have reportedly been in conversations for years) were interested/excited before having sight of the full CTR and given the comments to the effect that the data were above and beyond expectations/as good as they could possibly be, the response to the question "are we going to be able to agree terms at this stage? That's something for the future BUT IF NOT....." Could be interpreted that progression to a Phase II Ready study is by no means a certainty but is more of a creating a stronger negotiating position.

The evidence so far is that the limited amount of information that we have put into the public domain about the phase one study has caused excitement and certainly interest.
