Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Production of 126Koz per year at $2000 per oz and a cost of $400 per oz to mine is a profit of $202M. EUA owns 80%, and converting to £ gives an annual revenue of £117M, minus taxes.
With 2.8 billion shares in issue that equates to 4.2p per share.
So this alone justifies an increase in price – without flanks etc etc. Please check my arithmetic!
You can see Equilibrium's point about the share price and the expected Special Dividend.
As I have said before I have previously had a massive dividend comapred to the SP with AGP, but that was a very obscure company. EUA is very widely known and it is rather surprising that the 'experts' have not put the SP up to somewhere near the expected 'Massive' dividend.
The RNS did not say that the mining plan was the only thing needed to complete the DFS, nor did it give any indication of when the next news would be released. It could still be a few weeks away, and the share price will inevitably drift down on no news.
The RNS says the mining plan is expected to be completed 'within 2 weeks', however it does not say that it is the only thing required for the DFS (or even that it is a part of the DFS), and there is nothing in there about when anything will be published. So we may still have a bit of a wait.
Currently on twitter there is a discusion of special dividend compared to share price, and a table showing relatively small dividends.
I just want to add that I was fortunate enough to be a holdger of AGP in 2017 which paid special dividends of 23p followed by 103p when the share price was around 40p. The key to that share ws the large holding of the directors. In that case I believe it was about 95%.

Your question would seem reasonable on a normal board, but this is certainly not that! You need to understand that there have been anything up to a thousand posts a day here for well over a year, and anyone who is not an expert is not welcome by many.
I was glad to see you got a few sensible and useful posts amongst the angry ones.
Read the RNS for KKVL
I see I was wrong about the share redemption. Technically it is a redemption, but our shareholding does not reduce. It does however mean that it will be taxed as capital gains, not dividend.
What we have been receiving so far has been described as a 'return of capital' which looks like a dividend, but may be taxed differently (mine are in an ISA so it doesn't affect me). The last one was 3p per share. We have NOT had share redemptions, where part of the shares are cashed in and your number reduces.
Currently we are sitting well below the NAV, so these are in fact a very good buy.
" even a cryptic clue would be nice ….."
At the end of each RNS they make a point of saying the MT holding is 3 km away from NN's processing plant. I might say that isn't even cryptic - it's telling us that MT is going to NN, though my guess would be as part of a JV.
Lowbands: "I do think the BOD should release something to get the SP moving"
They have released a load of positive information - in particular the new JV in addition to the positive messages about the sale - but the SP refuses to go up!
I think that EUA will enter into a JV with NN, with NN as the large majority holder, to own MT and probably WK, and maybe even part of the Rosgeo JV. EUA’s share will be paid for by a combination of cash and shares.
The cash may be partly used for developing the Rosgeo JV, but I think not. That will all go to us shareholders.
I believe that a Japanese consortium will buy into the remainder of EAU (whatever part of the Rosgeo holdings haven’t gone to NN) which will provide the cash for developing it, but also give a value to the new EUA, which could be significant.
Wish I understood more about how the marketmakers work. I can see on L2 that WINS (which I gather is Winterflood Securities) are apparently holding the price down by being the only one offering shares at 22.5. This is a common situation for them, so we assume that they are acting for an influential investor who wants to buy in?
I am biased being a large and long time holder, but how can you not look at this RNS and all the other recent announcements as being anything but positive? Which makes the SP drifting down rather strange. I guess it's because the announcements are good rather than definitive, and many punters want quick returns. I don't believe all the conspiracy theories of the evil nasty guys getting together on our little company to rig the price. The truth is likely to be much more mundane.
Seeing the price steadily coming dowm I am under big pressure (from my wife) to sell and take a massive profit, but so far I am resisting. There must be others in my situation, and maybe not all resist!
This is a strange share and appears to be a no-brainer to make a small profit. The NAV is about 29p, the SP is 16/18p, with a policy of selling off to realise the value. So far we have had two dividends of around 5p, with no significant change to the SP.
I am awaiting the next dividend anouncement , which will cause a lift in the SP - and will probably sell at that point then look to buy in again.
