We haven’t moved since the initial +12% move back in Early March but neither have the others.

IMHO It’s all down to uncertainty with Trump and his market moving tweeting, I think investors want to jump in but wont until we finally get a end to the war and the inevitable overreaction drop in oil prices, thats the trigger they are waiting on.

In the meantime EnQuest is growing the bank account taking chunks off the net debt

The other difference is Serica has hedged more production than EnQuest I think they said it was 60% if memory serves me correctly.

The oil price is not reacting normally, 13m barrels missing from the market is not normal, oil reserves declining at the speed we are seeing is not normal.

Back in 2008 when oil prices spiked we only had a deficit of around 1.2m barrels. So why hasn’t the price responded to -13m barrels ? The only difference is social media

The price is acting as a balanced market when we are 13m short and reserves dropping fast

At some point oil prices will rocket as fundamentals take over

During the AGM they kept on highlighting the importance of the increase in value of our tax credits as others in the sector have albeit used theirs up and more importantly there are less and less bidders for uk assets.

One cargo was sold in March in the mid $70’s the rest have all been over $100 and if memory serves me correctly at least one was at $115 and Sea is selling at a 10% premium over Brent
