That's the problem CGO is tainted with retail investors & any association with CGO raises eyebrows & not necessarily for the right reasons. However CRTM are not CGO, different product, different country etc. I'm not suggesting for a minute that the new appointee has done anything wrong at CGO far from it (must be clear on that) but with same token one must use ones eyes & brain and see+say CGO have under delivered & under performed for a very long time to the detriment of shareholders & the lack of sales or ability to sell their product is definitely hurting them. I see no issues with sales at CRTM but the association of CGO doesn't make me feel as positive as RF in his statement at end of rns. I am still long on CRTM so will see how it plays out. Mixed emotions. I agree RF needs a hand managing the workload as he does too much for one person, so see the addition of a new appointment as a positive. Having been invested in Contango Holdings previously (CGO) I'm not keen on any board members coming from there to CRTM. However that said this conclusion of mine may be unfair on the new appointee & the issues that CGO appear to be having may solely be down to Carl, they may be something bigger that does not involve the new appointee IE it is not part of their remit their. The other positive is that where CGO are struggling to sell their product CRTM are not having delivered ore to the market previously which will recommence once the road upgrade is complete. Let's hope this is a positive appointment which helps CRTM on its journey to mid tier status.

So road upgrade last year attracted more local footprint hence it's detoriation. Hopefully they upgrade this year fixes the road for the long term whilst allowing the higher footprint. At this moment in time every depends upon this. If you try fix it to last a year or two you will just end up paying more over the longer term imo.

Some good points rises or brought to people's attention on this thread, also some doom & gloom so let me add a little positivity if I may. For those of you who remember the early days or Asiamet resources ticket ARS, well it did 160-180% rise in two days on the back of some exceptional copper drill results (those grades way below what CRTM have tweeted) at 5.18p a similar rise would put CRTM between 13.4p and 14.2p.

Looks like this road upgrade 2.0 has killed volume here. Hopefully once it is complete volume will pick up with the anticipation of impending ore sales. Until then I've switched off / zoomed out. I do wonder however if the company has considered asking the ore purchaser or potential ore purchasers for the money upfront for the road upgrade which will be paid back with free ore up to the value of the road upgrade cost + a certain % additional ore for free as a sweetener say 5-10% ,(exploring possibilities/example(s)).Maybe the company have this covered already who knows

Rather the seller was out than they let buyers come in we get some upward trajectory then they start selling again & all momentum is lost. Saw it at UPL 2023 when someone wrecked the book (won't name them).

It's not ignorant to point out raises are part of the journey, it's not ignorant to point out selling for a loss because a raise is or might be on the way is a sure fire way to blow you're pot. It's is however ignorant to buy a stock & think it will bag or multi bag without the news to raise capital along the way.

Name me one small cap that made it to Tesla/Apple like status without financing or raises along the way. Raises are part of the journey. For one to buy into a company with the mindset they are on to a multi bagger to sell for a loss because of a potential incoming raise is a sure fire way to blow the pot. Not advice just an observation.

The company stated that road upgrades where needed. This will take priority. No point in having great ore grades & lots of it with an all signing & dancing facility on site if the trucks can't get there without reduced usage. Getting exhausted explaining why this is a necessary evil.

The raise is a little disappointing at 9.5p. last raise was at slight premium this one at a discount to enable road upgrades which in turn allows sale of ore which allows the company to further their plan with minimal dilution. Given that was last raise before the above surprised it was at a discount when last raise was at a slight premium. That said many companies have had far worse raises by quite some margin over the last two years, something to take into consideration. Onna final note don't agree RF has done little or nothing for PI's and that 2024,will be like 2023 but respect that is someone's else's opinion. GLA

I think the company explain why the short delay is necessary. On the bright side OM have already taken ore so it's not like CRTM haven't sold anything proving we have buyers.

Is it a case of they can't communicate with the markets or a case of they have nothing to communicate with the market as they can't sell their product / no one wants it?

Russell Fryer did put his own shares up as collateral so when we go into the realms of trust this speaks volumes. Okay SP not where we want it but get the circa $3m from 20k ore sales & come back next year with positive news & hopefully better markets.

Just listened to an interview on YouTube with Russell Fryer (IGUK) 1 month ago where Russell states the company has already been approached by the Chinese for 50% of Molulu yet people have continued to sell. Another company recently (who shall not be named) have had alleged interest from an outside party in the way of a takeover (which I remain dubious about) & that companies SP rocketed (it is worth noting no takeover has happened for said company nor any second bid) I also wonder if the initial bid actually happened. The market may not be convinced just yet regarding CRTM but I always like to think of it like this (Shares are not owned they are leased & so long as the company continue to deliver & execute their plan I continue to hold) The SP may not reflect the plan being executed at present but once the confirmation of ore sales, circa 20M ebitda then the market will have to re rate this. Until then I suspect 12.4p resistance will be broke only so mm's can hoover up weak hands & the liquidity before marking this back up. I continue to hold because the BOD have a plan & to my knowledge they are sticking to this plan so the short term view of SP is of little concern to me.

The stock market a device to transfer money from those without patience to those with. Zoom out. That's all folks

Traded above 6p on uncertainty over funding. Now funding is secured with a tier 1 institution who asked for first refusal on any future funding people are taking profits at 5p pushing it below. It was up 22% today at 5.2p and people taking profits when it was 6.2p on no funding. This new wave of investor who crap the bed suffocate the life out of the stock market & if its not them it's the bloody mm's lmao

How do you work that out? RF & BOD are unlike most small caps aligned with shareholders, no free confetti being handed out, shares bought on open market & has just stumped up his own shares as collateral. There's a reason RF opted for non dilutive funding (aligned with shareholders).

More drill results to come so let's see what comes back. It's shallow yes but where did they drill edge of ore body? Ore body centre? Etc. My take RF is not going to put his own shares up as collateral on a duster.

Buy when it's quiet has always been the way. Accumulation down at these levels when quiet is the smart play if the funding comes back all sorted. If that plays out you look smart as sweary word if it all goes Pete tong you look like a bit of a plonker. However rarely has anyone made multi baggers on perfectly hand wrapped / gifted opportunities.
