The CBs want to circumvent the commercial banks and lend money directly into the economy
Inflation (non asset) isn't happening in part because banks are reluctant to lend.
CBs want ALL prices to rise to inflate govt debt away and allow the debt based ponzi to continue
I see gold being talked down by the likes of the FED who'll threaten interest rate rises but eventually the market will cotton on
Negative real rates
Deficit spending
Inflation
All good tailwinds for gold
That is my suspicion although it appears as a liability on the FEDs balance sheet and so any gold is technically owned by the Treasury. Whether there is any gold is up for debate
The gold has never been audited and repatriation claims take years which suggests the US has to surreptitiously acquire gold before "returning" it to the likes of Germany.
If the stock market crashed over in the US the economy would be truly revealed for what it is
