RE: Fortune to be made in Nigeria17 Feb 2021 13:40
you might wish to amend your moniker Ecologist. A few years ago one of our older members at the golf club greeted a new member who was a sociologist with the following riposte when he explained his vocation when asked. " If i had my way I would dig a f****** great pit dump all the f****** ologists in it & p i s s on them" Sadly our old member is no longer with us but i still chuckle.
To some extent James that is my point. However some ( MM’ s being the best example) will see an opportunity to drive down the SP if we get zilch despite it being a free ride.
I have no wish to be negative having been here as long as I have. However just a cautionary thought, so many seem to see this potential contract as the Holy Grail. Will we get a small slice, a large slice or zilch? If we get it will we be allowed to make any money? For now the V price is what we have to sustain us, but even that huge rise on Friday seems odd with the suggestion of a uniquely wide range in price. However keep the faith it will come good just a matter of when.
It strikes me that MM's dropped this like a pebble in the water to persuade holders to sell & /or take out stop losses so they can fill their satchels before lift off next week.
Lawrence so should they sell all their shares to avoid insider dealing, don't be ridiculous. Doing NOTHING cannot constitute insider trading. A subsequent sale when joe public has already been made aware would not attract attention as in should they have sold earlier, no way Jose.
Lawrence I do not understand in any way, shape or form after great news could constitute insider trading. A purchase prior to good news or conversely a sell prior to bad news yes you could look at insider trading but a sell after great news ?????
My first purchase was in late 2013 was 10k for £786 just like Loudspeaker & continued to buy for the next 3 years. I was well under water when the SP dropped to 1.3p just prior to Christmas 2016/when I recommended it to many as a good punt. In very early January 2017 I bought 1m at 2.1p & followed that with another 1m in late January. The rest is history but boy it has been a very rocky ride.
Their refusal to budge upwards has a huge brake on all trading. The bid has been squeezed like an orange 19.19, 19.205, 19.21, 19.22, 19.23 & now 19.24 just pathetic.
