RE: Sp16 Feb 2021 19:57
We often blame the MMs for the shareprice being where it is and their manipulation is often clear.
IMHO, Schroders worked with Sandbar and MMs to drop the sp from 50p - earning their margin from the lend and took a bit of profit mid 40s, to then get SP down to 33p so that they could add around the same price they added 3 mths earlier - thats not coincidence.
Then, today, the news broke - sp went from 39.8p to 41.9p back to 40.4p in a flash - if that wasnt the MMs pulling it back, I will be amazed, plus triggered a few sells when they got there.
People here worrying about what the sp will be at somepoint in time - we dont know - we never know! All I do know is that Schroders added another 1M to their investment and havent done that to see the price go sideways
Chill and enjoy - sell a few when it goes up, then buy them back when it falls - maybe only 3-5% margin each time, but it will pay for the tax on the 30%+ gain in next couple of months!
