Very encouraging!
From Southend Borough Council Website
"Southend Council owns the freehold of the airport, but it has been leased since 1994 to London Southend Airport Company Limited, which is now a subsidiary of the Stobart Group."
Suprised - "ranking seventh as the world's biggest media and entertainment publisher in 2018" does'nt really cut it after a change of CEO and still no encouragement by way of a trading or company update.
If the monitising situation is working albeit gradually and possible new relationship with Tangent, it would be nice to hear about it. IMO.
Share price over 60% down since 27 June about the time Tinkler left.
I'm not sure. All I know is I am 1000's down on both Stobart and Eddie Stobart so I am just frustrated with both companies performance since I bought in.!
You obviously study this company in great detail. The bonus award to Brady upon a sale of Southend Airport was drawn up before he started, so you say - drawn up by whom for whom? Why was this not presented to shareholders?
I think that is what is bugging Mr Tinkler - maverick directors?
Maybe the new CFO is introducing a bit of honesty? Maybe he can clean this outfit up!
I think Mr Tinkler is not jealous but can see directors robbing the company before it has achieved anything. Yes lots of potential but don't you think they are taking rewards early??
Another share reward today and the price is over 60% down!! Go figure.
Newspaper article today says that Heathrow 3rd runway may stop expansion of regional airports due to limits on carbon emission scheduled for 2050. Anyone agree?
I also attended AGM.
Asked about facebook and was told there is a product change going on. They are moving toward licensed product to increase monitisation. Hoping to pick up in the future.
I also asked about being #40 in the charts with the same sort of answer.
I also asked why the share price had been under such pressure. It would appear that the Woodward thing has been putting a damper on it. The person representing the company that gobbled up the full 113M from Woodward was there and seemed quite happy and so he should having made a good profit already.
APAC is under focus and performing well so they are hiring more Singapore staff. Japan 2020 is very much on the radar.
Cheers
