In the current market conditions I would rather avoid and not try and second guess what else may be occuring, there are far to many less risky opportunities out there at the moment at bargain basement prices

Looks like we may get a Rathlin Spud RNS soon to, as in it is imminent

Trying to dress it up as anything else is pure fantasy, things could change as has happened with others that were in a similar predicament such as PREM when the death spiral was removed via a PB placing. However to dress it up as something else you are merely lying to yourself and others.

To be fair that would not surprise me, it is extremely hard for them to raise especially at the moment. There is not a lot of appetite (Institutional) especially to go long any many things in AIM at the moment anyway, I've witnessed it in the previous bull run post 2008 crisis where IIs were going signifacntly long especially in resource stocks. We had several multibaggers back then, however today with the lack of liquidity it can be difficult for them to exit a long in profit within a short timeframe. Thus the appetite is there to go short and if a company needs cash in a hurry these death spiral deals are almost always immediately available.

Simples: Identify AIM share that will require funding in near future, commence naked shortselling of stock (Up to 10% of current shares in issue without having to declare to market ((10% per market maker))), contact company and offer a deal of sorts in order to assist with funding, end result = Share price decimated and all shares sold onto retail at higher prices, meanwhile behind the scenes rinse rinse repeat.
