Hmrc rules are hmrc rules and don’t make exceptions. In fact Halifax have stated on my ISA that they will be transferred into trading account on 26th November. Which going by HMRC is incorrect as should be 30 days from de list date 12th November I would contact Halifax on this error but I don’t see the point as they will not be relisting by 12th Dec. the agm is not even due till mid Dec so no point, it will still end in the same result. I’m guessing the info I was told when I rang I ii is incorrect then about them staying in isa no matter how long it is de listed for. I can’t see how it can be a different rule for them. Yes the company has to re list and yes I will be pleased if relist price is substantially higher, and yes I realise I can bed and isa 20k in new tax year, but that is 20k of whatever they are worth in April and will have a massive impact on how many shares can go in depending on what price they are....whereas had they of been in isa at this low level would of been a different story altogether. Takes years to build up ISA status and seems really unfair system for this to happen in this scenario. I just don’t get it. What on earth does it matter on tax status if it is de listed!! To say I’m gutted is an understatement.
And I’ve just gotten off the phone to ii and been told with them as long as the company relists nothing to worry about. They said shares will stay in ISA regardless of how long it is delisted (not the 3 months max timeline someone else suggested) It seems different ISA providers have different rules depending on why the company is delisting. Halifax appear to be more of a problem than ii. What have you been told Dj?
I was told by Halifax yesterday that it depends on the corporate announcement the company makes as to what happens to your ISA status. Depending on that outcome they can either remain in your isa or transfer into normal trading or share certificate. I have been told to await the corporate action. ..... I wonder if CP’s and his legal team are aware whatever their corporate action says could be detrimental to our ISA status. Now I need to find out if this rule also applies to ii ISA’s. And I haven’t even got started on spreadbets Wot a bloody mess
I hope Ian is a fan of mid day RNS’s like I am, rather than constant 7am releases. It tends to keep people on their toes more and make it less predictable for the day traders/mms. Mix it up a bit. That’s what I like to see
I definitely see a big announcement on the cards with a major. Going back to the July RNS which stated ‘During development the scope of GOLDBLOC has grown to become the foundation of a gold banking ecosystem which has required additional planning and integration with our technology partners Railsbank.’ It then goes on to talk about the current accounts linked to it because as you’ll remember prior to being suspended it was just going to be linked to mastercards etc. Not current accounts. What this tells us is that since suspended, changes that they didn’t foresee at the time have come to light. I also remember Cameron mentioned in an interview he gave after suspension that shareholders may well see some larger players upon relisting building a stake which would please us. So for me it all points to a major tie in with a large institutional player.
@manabouttown. I appreciated the heads up on phe yesterday as similar sector, but that’s where it ends. Now your really irritating me. Let’s not all have to report you for constantly ramping another stock on the eqt chat board.
Going by the interview, I think the next contract which is due any day is a UK contract, which he said he would announce with interims. Which wasn’t announced with interims. He is forgiven, as we had the 10 million debt facility in with the interims. Not to mention the monster ‘cracking USA’ RNS with the 2 x Phoenix contracts re California. Which came out the blue and weren’t even discussed in the interview. (Imagine how many more he has lined up like that which haven’t been mentioned) So of course the couple of 50-100 million ones could come at any time but I’m expecting the UK contract that was mentioned to be the next. And maybe the UK contract is a 50-100 million one. Who knows. Very exciting times
My suspicions have proven correct on barnetpeter. I’ve just had a look through his posts on multiple different stocks over the last few months. There’s a pattern. On all his posts it’s the same drivel. He claims to either hold a position and either be at a loss, or to have just sold some etc He always posts extremely negative yet with the attempt that he is long In fact the moment lion rns’d suspension was announced, only 2 days later he was posting how it wouldn’t relist in the 3-4 months but would be at least a year if they did relist!!! And this supposedly from somebody who claims to hold a position!!!! He does it with all his posts!! Worked you out mate. Your short Your a multiple shorter of stocks and you make your money by trying to appear long but negative and resigned to a loss!!! Twitchy bum time for you soon
Let’s not make the mistake of focusing everything on interims due in next week or so. Yes going from interview it sounds like maybe a smaller contract will be announced if maybe 20 million or so, which will still be amazing and should see a nice increase to sp. However the real exciting ones for me are the 50-100 million ones he speaks of in the next few months time. ( and I say ‘ones’ meaning plural) as that’s what he said. That will blow the roof off this share price. And that’s just the start of what’s to come . Long term global demand, with CEO who has all the contacts from previous roles he’s held, coupled with our unique patented technology. No need to ramp this share as it’s as plain as the nose on my face that this is gunna be a major major company in the making. Just have patience and don’t make the mistake of bailing once interims and ‘small’ deal announced with interims. This is a grower over the next year I’m telling you! It’s as plain as the nose on my face
Icepick balancer view my a@se. Bad news I agree. No news I agree however. Good news - open gap up , sell off with profit takers followed by the serious money flooding in and slow steady rise as multiple contracts announced. (The part you forgot to mention) Reading your ‘balanced views ‘ if that was true no company on aim would ever grow
