Agree that acquisition at this stage is unlikely but not impossible. But no chance a big pharma will buy the rights of XF-73 platform. This represents >80% of the potential value of DEST so if they want it much simpler to buy the company

My guess is that Tata will be paid a royalty based on sales. And that Tata will promote the product through channel in India. I would imagine Tata are very influential in Indian market. So for OPTI , reduced margin but much increased sales volume.

SY1. The costs of any Pharma Phase 3 clinical trial runs into millions - which is why the DEST strategy is to partner with another company who will fund the trials. For M3, the agreement with Sebela is that they will fund P3. The plan for XF-73 Nasal is to partner with another company who will also fund P3 trials. I guess that will be the model for other products coming off the XF-73 platform. That's why DEST cash runway is long - because it won't use its own cash for P3 trials. That is my understanding, anyway.

Regarding Patents for XF-73. Bill Love talked a bit about this in yesterday's presentation. DEST have invested heavily in IP protection. They have multiple patents covering the XF platform, can't remember how many, I think at least 60. They have divided their technology into smaller parts and patented each one. some were done earlier, some very recently. As an investor myself, I have no concerns about DEST's IP protection. Hi Sajy - you post some good stuff, but rather undermine your credibility by spreading rumours - e.g. "I had heard that both GSK and Pfizer were interested". Let's stick to opinions based on FACTS - i.e. RNS reports, rather than what you heard down the pub , please.

I think all important commercial deals will be held back until after CT (new CEO) joins on Sept. 1, so I am unsurprised there has been no news in August, but I do expect Sept to be busy in terms of news and SP movement. DEST is a right little pressure cooker, IMHO

In the broker's note they said they expected the NTCD-M3 commercial deal to be announced Jan/Feb 2023. And the company announced in Dec. that the Heads of Agreement for that contract had already been agreed, and they were just sorting out the details. I am sure the company will not make any further comments until after the contract announcement RNS. Personally I have faith in the broker, so that means the RNS will be this week or next.

Very encouraging that all 3 streams are on track and plenty of cash to fund all 3 well into 2022. XF-73 phase IIb clinicals still on track for completion and results notification Q121. If these are positive they will commence partnering discussions for the ph. III clinicals. And the C-Diff preventer is also ph III ready. I expect a significant rerate once the partnering discussions for both streams commences. Fantastic opportunity for medium and L/T investors to accumulate at these levels.

Have been invested here pre-IPO. Yes, Phase 11b trials have been delayed because of difficulty of recruiting due to COVID. However, enough cash until end 2021, so 11b trials can be completed despite delay. Then it all depends on the results of 11b. If negative, then this could be a zero. However, assuming positive result then they will go straight to phase III trials. This will require a fund raise. However, since generally there is a high success rate of ph 111 trials after successful IIb, it will attract II's, especially from US. Possibly a listing in US is on the cards at that time. Either way, valuation will go up massively if successful at IIb and again if, as expected XF-73 is validated as safe and efficacious after ph. III. I see DEST is a binary share; either Zero or massive multi-bagger.
