Does anyone think that this could realistically ever hit 8p again?

Luckybob23 - When ALBA started it didn't have the assets and projects it has today. So hoping that it reaches those highs isn't nonsense. AIM is unpredictable and anything is possible. I am sure that when ALBA was 0.04 some people honestly thought that it would never reach 0.58 again, but it did.

I am personally hoping that ALBA can hit the same highs of at least 11.38p that it did in 2006. That would make every long term or recent investor very happy this Christmas or New Year.

Selling and trying to buy back when result drop is risky. If the results are amazing then this share will skyrocket within minutes if not seconds. I think that it will be near impossible to get your hands on a significant amount of shares when news drops, and if you do you would have had to pay a massive premium.

brig0d00n - I have no intention of selling my shares. I am trying to manage my expectations as so should most people. Based on the other RNS, drilling should have been completed in September so results should have arrived around this time or by the end of October. Now that drilling is ongoing till the end of October, I am looking to add another 4-5 weeks for any results. Results could come in before that, however I will not be thinking about this share as much for as least the next 3 weeks unless another RNS update is released.

I would rather it breaks through and retest that area before news. Otherwise there is a high chance that even if we get great new, it will spike very high past it and still retrace back to that area before bouncing off it (this could happen intraday or over a few days). I don't like whiplash massive rises followed by massive falls. It encourages panic selling. I think that yes the price will recover if that happens, but a lot of people get burnt during that and get put off the share in the process.

Alba really needs to decisively break through 0.61-0.65p, then retest that area and convincingly bounce off it. I think once that happens it is going to be off.

Ash -I hope UKOG are seriously considering doing that then if this continues.

I haven't looked at this in just over a week so it's great to see a tickup here. I'll be holding on to my shares and not sell a single one. I am going to avoiding looking at this for a another 2 weeks now though as drilling has been extended. I am confident with what the company is doing and not worried if the price goes up or down in-between. The short, mid and long term direction for this share price in my opinion is UP UP UP.

How long have the council delayed proceedings? Isn't there anyway UKOG can proceed legally against the council to stop the stalling? After all its cost them a lot of money and unfair. Just because the council members do no personally like the project surely they must be forced review planning requests based on the individual merits, objectively without any prejudice .

Why do they now have a crazy spread? Does anyone think it Is to stop people from selling and the share price crashing down?

Hopefully those who sold out and stay out don't seriously regret it at some point next week. 3-5 days retracements are normal even expected after the massive rally up this has had. I strongly believe that the bounce will commence at some point next week and the strong uptrend will continue as long as no new negative news is released.

Yeah we definitely want Ukog to do well with their joint ventures with ALBA. But that's a spectacular fall from grace. A few years ago they went from 0.88p to nearly 9p in 4 months. So to see them at 0.16p today is crazy. Alba should take note and stop diluting their shares, avoid adding new projects and try getting their current projects to start producing income ASAP.

I was thinking the same at least 2-3 weeks maybe 4( Those added weeks just in case of delays due to covid back log or limited staff). It could be sooner but I won't be impatient if it takes the entire month. Ideally I would like it sooner if it is possible, either way they can take their time as long as the results are excellent and share price keeps accumulating in the mean time.

Has the water problem been sorted out??

I am personally not expecting one for a few weeks (2-3 at least), although an unexpected one confirming high grades of gold would definitely be appreciated and welcomed.

Only god knows. Could be test selling, accidental trades or some people really needing a few pounds.

I am not personally worried about the last 2/3 days drop as I expected it. I am also expecting a huge bounce which will happen very soon... just sitting patiently and holding on to my shares :O)
