we probably hit the bottom for today on aim @428, but im not sure what nasdaq will do after we close, still bearish on the ftse for the week though

its a bi'atch when that happens!, and now its dropping on nasdaq, it is looking like i was right about $80 being resistance for today at least, always tomorrow, but i'm still bearish on the ftse.

c'mon, fess up, who bought 834k of shares at near 460? was that you stevie ;)

oil appears to be dragging the ftse into negative territory now, bio's holding on though.. i'll have a guess and say that $80 is still resistance

its looking like i was wrong about the ftse as its bouncing today, could change later this week as economic data gets released, the fda application delay could also scupper the £10 target this summer, i was banking on early approval...

it certainly has broken away from the bio index as that is falling off a cliff, but if you look at the ftse, and the timing of the spike you can see the correlation, nothing is easy, holding or trading, but holding is much simpler. we are in oversold territory, but so is the bio ETF, so the ftse looks to be the driving factor today, which is not always the case, however the ftse still looks bearish to me. we only have a month or so to wait for the LGS data, which could keep us buoyant, but you never know with this stock as it really is volatile http://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/667809/FTSE-loses-billions-amid-UK-economy-fears

hard to say, cos it could just be filling the gap, looks to be heading back down, yesterday on cnbc some of the traders were saying a small rally was due today, hence the reason the usa markets are up a bit, but they were only jumping in for a quick trade, which is why i think the markets will make another downward move either tomorrow, or more likely next week. i dont for one minute think we will head really low, at worst its poss we test 394, but as always its just my opinion, and i could be wrong, no harm in stating it though ;)

well, if stocks in general do crash over the summer, gold could fly...

yeah, done a bit of reading about it, could be good in the near term, what do they have to achieve to really make it pop?

:) just looked at pog, six years ago it peaked at 1348, its now trading at around 8p, its a russian gold mining company..... best stick with GW, at least it should pop big time on data, POG will have to literally strike gold to get back up the heady heights of £13. but its a good example of what can and does happen to stocks! props to anyone that can hold that long in a sea of red, i would of bailed years ago.

very subdued, but looking more towards the downside, huge cash burn, pathetic sativex sales, everything hangs on the success of epidiolex

ftse looks to be trying to break 6100, def in bearish mode, could scupper a pop a bit, and would def make a drop worse...but we will have to wait until after 2:00 to really see which way its gonna go. GL!
