"No news is good news" mmm be careful, news will come when something happens. No news does not mean things are good. No news means no news so be sceptical, speculative, bold, or sure. All until news becomes news, then we will know if it's good or not good. I truly understand the excitement and hopes of all, but once bitten twice shy. Good luck all, I'm watching and waiting.

I usually trade via iweb online portal. for 2 days Ive tried to free up some cash for a house purchase by selling a 3rd of my holding, but am unable to without putting in an order instead of seeing a price for me to decide on whether I go ahead or not. Is this indicative of anything ?
Now I've been here for years now, waiting patiently for that big splurge of profit that comes with buying into the right kind of company, I've recently topped up with profit from a badly thought out sale, should have left it there ! We've all been there. I am however concerned by the amount of large sales here in the recent past. Years ago to quite recently a small sell volume brought the price tumbling, and a very large buy volume only picked at the price in a positive manner. These trades have had little impact on the SP and whilst large sales not impacting the SP can only be good, I am left wondering the following, why hasn't the price been affected. how many buys need to be placed before an upturn in SP, and Do I ( We ) need to be concerned. Thoughts anyone ? I'm beginning to wonder.
happy with that, keep it going please.
Operators are unlikely in my experience to move flights from one airport to another, esp Stansted, airlines won't want to lose slots never mind their corporate agreements. Southend can not compete with these two airports you mention, the runway is narrow and not of a great length albeit a decent take off run available. It is only Cat 1, so limited bad weather ops, and fire cat 6. The big thing they lack however is a lack of controlled airspace, that makes a big difference, no one will send their aircraft from Stansted or Luton to operate out of SEN unless of an emergency. Low landing fees and aircraft parking helps airlines in, it's passengers passing through where airports make their money. Take offs are free ! I'm in here, at the top, so am wanting the sp to rise, it's just for your info, not trying to diss anyone elses comments, it gets too personal sometimes, no need for it. take care all. K
has a valid point, whatever his post history, don't diss him too quickly. Airports invest infrastructure money, but it takes years to recoup. Landing fees and the like from low cost carriers amount to peanuts. If they don't already have £2 drop off car parking, £1 per use of a trolley, expensive exec lounge, costly internet, £2 smoke room ( outside ). expensive shops due to the airport company taking their cut, from handling companies too. Authority running courses at a cost to service partners under the guise of compliance, staff conditions and pay grades reduced, then they soon will, just in order to cover the interest in their loans. Moreover, if the estuary option gets built, adios Southend. But it wont come to that, Southend has its place but will never become a player.
Isn't looking too hard a prospect. Looking forward to good early summer bookings and a good 1st quarter next year, and hopefully reach the 280-300. Here's hoping folks. K (keep the faith)
Can't help thinking it's going to do one of those SGP dives sometime soon. Exceeded my target expectations so watching closely.
saw that coming ! K
I'm waiting. Just doesn't seem to be able to sustain plus 230.
It'll take quite a while. atb
Not much activity here. I have just come on board, very surprised to see such a negative spin back in Jan. Get out ! was the cry. Not good advise as it turns out, but I guess you don't know that at the time. Did you stay in ? Hope this turns out well. K
