And, sorry to contradict you, but they delisted because of the nomad ok, but no one knows why the nomad left. They are still waiting for an explanation that now will probably never come

Everybody is quite rightly focused on Vast but today one of the most traded and popular companies on AIM disappeared: Frontera resources. With it, the money of thousands of small investors also went up in smoke. A company with a charismatic ceo A company with some great assets A company with billions upon billions of shares in issue They were always waiting for a big partner to come in and provide funds. It never came. A company always promising jam tomorrow, but never delivering anything and funny (or sad) enough, a company whose only perceived fault over the years was that their RNS were always perceived as incomplete, lacking detail and sometimes giving misleading informations. They are gone and the shareholders dont even know why. Now, every case is different but this is making me think very hard....

At least it looks to me that the diamonds were a political decision rather than one based on vast not being able to deliver on its promises. RNS any time now?

The RNS has not had the intended effect, in fact it has sunk the SP even more. Very disappointing, considering the RNS was overall positive, despite very ambitious timelines (IMO) which we already know wont be achieved. At this point i dont see an offtake agreement taking us back to 40+. Maybe high 20s. Maybe. But for the SP to really move up north we need the diamonds (unlikely to come anyway) or BP in full production with attached monthly profits. Anything basically that tells people the company is profitable and sustainable. In the end, offtake is just more debt. And with AP nasty habit of not saying what it does with the money he gets, it wont help the SP much. That is at least 6 months away anyway. Finally, i’ve been very negative lately. I cant help it as i see us in a really bad situation at the moment. I’ll stop posting for a while as i dont want to drag everybody down with my negativity. GLA

It’s not a bad RNS, except more delays, but it’s nothing that will move the SP north unfortunately.

Is falling apart. I hope AP will put his ego on the side and admit now it’s not the time to spend millions of dollars we dont have in such a volatile country. Besides, the croc is proving to be Mugabe 2.0: he cant be trusted and we should stop any further investment in this country.

Guys please be civilized as we have enough problems as it is....... we can argue but in a constructive way please. I’ll start: in my very humble opinion AP is either a crook or an incompetent. Not sure which one is worst for us. For sure he’s a liar. I dont think that trucks nor marange will come next month (they wont come at all) and I dont think Eureka will come this year. i believe that BP is our only hope to recover. This is all in my opinion and no offence is intended to anyone that does not agree with that statement. GLA all, as always i hope i am wrong.

Lots of fair points today. This week, at some point there’ll be a podcast for sure. If AP comes out clean, even if he says we are in serious financial difficulties, at least we’ll know where we stand and i’ll be satisfied. If he gives the usual BS of soon, imminently, shortly, due any day, plan B, C, D......Z without giving any detail, than i know we are doomed.

IMO The reason we are so low has got a lot to do with the way AP communicates, hence why i think he is not really honest when he speaks. This time last year he promised no more dilution: we’ve had plenty and plenty more to come. He said no more deals bergen style and we had one last month. He got Eureka and we have hardly had any update on that The situation with Manaila is far from clear! The new dumpers should have been there a while ago, but now who knows if and when they are coming! Marange: i appreciate your optimism, but i think there is a small chance of us getting it: why would the croc give such an important concession to a company that does not have any money to develop it? BP pictures: it looks like a freaking museum! Or the set of some cold war movie..... Merc: i cannot believe the funds not coming was a surprise! If so, he is incompetent. The list goes on. I agree there is still a good chance of us getting out of this mess, but the low share price is there because many people have lost faith with the combination of uber-positive interviews followed by bad RNS. Still heavily invested, thank goodness i dont need the money and can wait for it to either recover or go bust. Time will tell. GLA

Can you tell us what are those positive? It would really help as right now it looks very grim to me! I hope it’s not just mindless ramping...... Anyway, the more i think about it, the more i am convinced of AP dishonesty. He should be removed from his post.

Dodge, diamonds or not does it really matter? Still holding and all but common sense tells me that we’ll be diluted into oblivion. At that point the mines will start producing, but only new investors will make any money, for people like me it’s an exercise in damage limitation.

Fully agree. We deserve some answers. AP needs to say why merc pulled out. Although probably it will be a half truth and he’ll withdraw some infos. Also, while he’s at it: What happened with the money of the last placing? The new equipment for that dog that Manaila is? Eureka? Why do we have plenty of assets and none is making jack s*** for the company? Except PP that is, but who knows if we can really get the money out of Zim!
