RE: Happy Xmas BOD26 Dec 2024 18:24
Warrie,
I was lucky enough to have been invested in ARB when they took off - around Dec 2020 to Feb 2021. More luck than judgement but I read a lot on this forum from a poster called Trek Madone who was convinced it was going to go from 5p to £1 - and he was right! I top sliced on the way up from avg 5p to £3 but made the mistake of keeping too much invested thinking it was going even higher. Ended up trying to catch the falling knife so although I made a really decent amount it should have been life changing. Anyway - easy to look back now but at the time investors seriously thought it was going to £5! The biggest driver I remember was ARB being listed first on the OTC market in the US and then it was the build up of anticipation of being listed on Nasdaq. This, coupled with a crypto bull run, provided huge momentum. Also, the CEO at the time Peter Wall was an excellent communicator and the market loved him for it. GST is the closest thing I've seen and felt to ARB since those days - and let's hope it has similar results! GLA and thank you to those informed posters who provide very valuable information.
