According to the last rns Well 141 is the next shallow well to be worked over with a horizontal side track with work expected to commence in December 2023.

This tender for 145 is for £1.4m and when you consider everything else they are doing there is no way they can pay this based on current production of 2000 bopd.

They must have some good news on 142 or block 8 to be putting out this tender.

More sells than buys and the share price is showing up 6%+. On Friday I could sell as much as I wanted but could only buy £500 worth at a time. Although I was only offered 0.0704p to sell.

In my opinion It looks like some sort of accumulation going on here. We’ve seen no rns from Lansdowne either to show they have been selling down. Surely they would have hit a notification threshold by now if they were selling. I thought shareholders had to notify if there was a movement of 1% or more.

Call me crazy but I think this share feels in oversold territory and the only way is up now.

Last rns: "Drilling at the two deep wells undertaken by CTS, the Group's wholly owned drilling subsidiary, has been completed with both now preparing for testing. Success with these wells, once the Block 8 acquisition has completed, could also significantly add to production levels.

Until the block 8 acquisition is completed they can't announce anything as the wells don't belong to Casp.

For me they are either a) waiting for block 8 acquisition to be completed before testing or b) have completed the testing and are waiting for the block 8 acquisition to be completed before announcing the results.

Only CASP management can get themselves in such a position. :-)

Hopefully we will at least get news on well 142 as they did state if it is successful it will conntribute to production by mid november.

Note to Carver: It's mid November end of next week and would really be grateful if you could just manage to hit one date.

This is a strange share, can’t buy more than £500 but yet sell 4 million without a problem. Yet the price keeps falling or so it appears

The Americans attention has now moved to the ME hence we see very little news of Ukraine in the media.

Sadly I think the Russia and Ukraine war will drag on as neither side seems to be in a position to impose themselves on the other.

Still all to play for with Casp and I’m still hopeful. A lot of the major oilers were trying to transition to greener energies but that looks to be on hold now. Even Shell are looking to increase investment in fossil fuel. We know there is oil there but casp just seem to be incompetent to get it out. Need one of the majors to take a punt here

She bought shares at 0.17p for £195k. At the moment she’s just over 50% down and to be honest if she’s tries to sell her 110m shares she will be lucky to get 10 or 20% of her stake at best.

On the surface this is one of the worst buys by a person with insider knowledge.

Even worse appears to be the debt facility they’ve signed up to.

Both of these decisions appear to be madness on a huge scale. Both these deals only work out well for the company if the share price rises.

I feel BoD and Eileen are expecting news which would transform this share. I am still hopeful.

IMO it all depends on the findings of the independent technical engineers. If their findings provide a good case for continuing then this will be fully funded.

If there were large red flags why would these lenders allow HZM to keep drawing down on the facility?

@armas - to be precise Iraq are stopping only cash withdrawal of US dollars to ensure they don’t get hit by US sanctions. You will still be able to transfer dollars electronically.

This is a non story as far as gkp is concerned.

@theoryman - just looked at the Rudaw link you posted. It states:

The petroleum association stressed that even if the Iraq-Turkey pipeline were to reopen, the member companies would not be “in a position to produce oil for pipeline exports” IOCs are paid their contractual entitlements of oil sold and delivered “in the past and for future sales of such oil exports.”

Could be worded better but do you not think it’s saying we need to be paid our arrears before we deliver any oil for exports.

No arrears money no oil export. Can’t get clearer than that.

GKP and other oilers are losing out on revenue but as it stands they all should now be fCF positive on a monthly basis so can rise out the storm. GKP at last rns generating £3m+ net profit each month probably more if they have increased production or local refineries having to pay more knowing the gravy train will end once the pipeline is opened so trying to get as much as they can.

What no one has commented on is that Iraq now want $601.9m when the international court had said $1.4b. Not a great starting gambit for a court case unless some bartering has gone on behind the scenes. Although I hold GKP shares even I can see that KRG and Turkey are legally in the wrong and some sort of compensation needs to be paid. I’m guessing this £601.9m, surprisingly precise figure, has been agreed and is what KRG will end up paying on behalf of Turkey. KRG are strapped for cash so will probably be loaned / given the money by the yanks who can’t afford to let KRG crumble as they need the Peshmerga army as their fighting force against ISIS and Iran.

In the meantime GKP are getting on with selling to local refineries and as at last rns are making about £3m net profit each month.

This is a hold for gold share but as usual most will be scared into selling before the end.
