Everything so far is via WebChat, which I receive a copy of. TBH though, unless I have a financial loss / potential financial loss, I'm not too bothered about raising a complaint, however that may change. I'd simply like to deal with someone who knows what they're on about, gives 100% correct information and can clearly communicate to me what the next steps need to be.
I have asked on a few occasions 'what needs to happen now so that, if I choose to do so, I can trade on day 1 of the new listing' and this seems to be a real stumbling block for them! They can tell me that I need to transfer to another broker but not how this should be done, so I currently don't have a definitive answer or timescales. I was however given the impression that I would get these via the call which should have come yesterday.
Must confess though - the more days go by, the more nervous / frustrated I am becoming as it is less likely I'll have the option to trade on day 1.
I'll give them a few more days and, if there's no call, contact them again.
Re the sites, hopefully a good sign. Have tried looking at the historic 'cached' version to see if anything could be gleaned, but these was nothing new.
