At sixteen, back in the eighties, i worked five days a week, nine to five thirty, i got a tea break in the morning and afternoon (paid) and an hour for lunch. Now, you can work twelve hours with only a thirty minute unpaid break. It's too much. My daughter left the army and got a delivery driver job, but she found it too stressful because of the unmeetable demands placed on her and colleagues. And she did a tour in Afghanistan! She later joined the police force, and has found that less stressful! We are killing our workforce, therefore our own people, for shareholder profits. No wonder they don't want to work, for most it's utterly cr@p!
