Indices have fallen a touch overnight taking copper down with it but it’s still holding in good territory at 5115
It’s showing oversold on the RSI hourly chart also on Stocastic these stats give it positivity to rise back up to the 5200 or a bit higher but it’s no guarantee, if the major world indices lose more ground through the day we could see coooer back at the 5000 level.

Scoop, more luck than anything, but the vibes were getting worse for a massive oversupply especially when the EIA started estimating an oversupply of 25 mil brls per day and the cut only came in at 9.7 per day that was my reason for taking a chance and moving it into KAZ.

(Reuters) - Energy traders bailed out of the expiring May U.S. oil futures contract in a frenzy on Monday, sending the contract to a record of almost $1 a barrel, as few buyers are willing to take delivery of actual physical barrels of oil because there is no place to put the crude.

Well the ftse futures currently up 1.1% yanks at bout even and copper at 5225 so there’s no drastic downward pressure at the moment.
On the charts it looks like there’s a possibility that the ftse may try and jump to the 6000 mark or close today and the Dow go for 25000. If this happens then coopers got a good chance of hitting 5300 today.
I just wonder how this crap in Zambia will affect Glencore as this is a big copper area for them ?

I’m out on site again today it’s local and at a private house so social distancing isn’t a problem, so won’t be posting much.

Cooper1 yes if you look back over the years there’s a very compelling evidence that when ftse has dropped it recovers in a similar time period as to what the drop happens the footse May rattle around at this level for a month or 2 but then I can see it moving strait back up being above 7000 by christmas

This virus could have easily been let loose anywhere in the Hubei province, it just happens that Wuhan was the main place it was discovered by doctors as there were a lot of cases the same symptoms, it was very convenient to blame it on a meat market.

You only got to go back a few years when the 2 Russian guys poisoned the scripalls in Salisbury, they bought novichock nerve agent into the country and smeared it on the front door handle of their house then discarded what looked exactly like a scent bottle in a park waste bin only to be found by a guy and his mrs who tests it in her only to die from it.

The scripall’s we’re lucky they were admired to hospital and both survived as the dosage they had picked up from the handle was so small, but the other poor sod thaught it was an expensive perfume.

Now the Uk said the Russians would be bought to justice over this but it’s just faded into the background, was anything done about it ?

My theory above and mentioning the case in Salisbury is an example of how easy it would be to cary enough of this virus in a sealed bottle to start an infection in many places as I believe the virus can survive for quite a few days between a normal temperature range.

When you go abroad who tests your scent bottles that are under 100 millilitres no one as your just told to display them in a plastic see through bag.
You could pish in one of the bottles and no one would have a fekin clue.

Big gap up by Glenda as well this morning so them that are on the sidelines it may be a great opportunity on Monday as glen may go to close that gap up before resuming its uptrend keep an eye on it it may be a good opertunity to rinse a few quick quid out of it

I see KAZ came all the way back to close that fuquing gap up this morning now it’s bounced up fekin amazing but it happens a lot

On my channel chart for KAZ the next top out I’m looking at 443 but if copper gets u to 5300 I would say we looking at around 460
This is all speculative but I have made it a passion of mine to keep checking back on past history and if you look at a 60 year copper chart you will see why I have opted to go for KAZ in a big way.
