A useful secondary check can be to evaluate whether BP generated enough free cash flow to afford its dividend.
At the current dividend cover of just 1 it’s on dangerous ground.

After reading that BP report they will have to either cut or postpone the next dividend payments until things improve

Billy yes spreads are same as in normal market but to trade it cost you roughly .01% of the size of your trade and there’s an overnight fee based on libor rates at the time of trading but I normally get in and out in the day.
