Billy, no what I was saying is it’s bottomed out at 7.00
I didn’t want to take any until I had seen it stabilise as it may have gone even further.

I don’t think it will go to 7.00 again but might retrace a bit from here as it’s made 20% rise from 7.00 in a very short timescale and there maybe some profit taking in next couple of days trading, so I will be looking to take a few around 760 to 780 mark.

XD date is 4th July can’t forget that one lads us independence day and IAG are giving a massive 45p divi this is subject to a 19% withholding tax but still comes out at 36.5p in the bag after tax which gives me a 6.92% return on my holding plus any capital gain from here.
With a PE currently at 5.27 and the average for this sector normally between 10 and 13 this has to be a good time to have a few of these I mean EZJ current PE is 10.3 so by that standard IAG should be trading at around £10

Billy, I still got my eye on TUI it but I would rather let it settle to be sure the base is 7.00 so I will give it a few days next week see how it goes I’m in no rush as I got fair lump in IAG and took some MONDI as well both these are off the boil but had great end year results so thought I’d have a punt as I missed the last uptick with Glen, unfortunate but that’s how it goes.
Glens had a good run for 2 months and I’m thinking for it to do another 10% from where it is now we need to see substantial upside in copper and zinc and they’re starting to struggle that’s the only reason I’ve moved a lot of my spare funds into IAG which I think will make 10 to 15% a lot quicker than Glen at the moment.

I see RIU the Spanish hotel company topped up their holding on 18th Feb they bought 1.1 mil shares at a cost of €10.4 million they now own 3.56% of tui shares up from 3.38% so they got a mega lump in the company they now hold approx 21.75 million shares based on the calculation of the above increase in share holding.

BREATHEASY, I think you mean he bought at £7.40 as the share price is now £8.47
However he may have purchased in € as it’s Spanish.
That’s a big lump though so he’s feeling confident.

Craig, I recon if we hold CEY for a year we got to get back above 135 at some point along the way.
CEY production report out on 24th April so hope the market take it well, if not weee in for some more downside.
I’ve traded CEY. a lot when it was on the rise so my average is 79.89 at present so still just in the blue and the divi will help.

Scoop, if you look at the copper chart and the GLEN chart in comparison to each other on 26th April last year copper dropped quite heavily almost same day as XD and carried on for bout 5 days then the same happend at the next XD on 6 September making it look like a sel off after XD but it was the price of copper taking it down not the fact it had gone XD.
So I think if copper holds ground there will only be minimal pullback in price on XD day
