I’m struggling to see a negative here. I am just a novice at this game though, but something’s telling me I should have gone baubles deep here when I had the chance. Like you said it seems to be a good match, obviously the fund raising for the project could be a dampener however I am in for the long here as with all my investments and knowing what I know about how much Wales has been investing and funding it’s co2 emissions reductions and with the coal plant being close to home it’s looking pretty positive to me. A question I have is will the plant be producing hydrogen and if so what amounts could be expected, the reason being I know wales has been looking toward hydrogen as a major player in fuel for homes and transportation.

And the matter in hand. There’s talk of this in 70s when reintroduced what’s people’s opinions on simec etc....

I personally think it couldn't be going any better. I know where I'm placing my bets. As I said right at the beginning WTO. The only way this will get sorted. Even if yesterday had gone well there would of been months of trade talking nonsense then a million other issues after that only for the 27 to reject right at the end point. I'm thinking WTO might even come sooner than most think.

It's plain to see that HMG are lining they're own pockets with the investment choices they've made. Either that or it's very A typical of Great Britain to be absolutely crap in its decision making when it comes to science and technology. Oh well it looks like the big boys will be selling our wares back to us in the future as per usual.

I agree that come what may either will get taxed, however looking from HMG point of view, tax on petrol is used as an inflationary control taxation. This is a very useful tool for HMG. I do not think they would like to see this tool dissolve with oil. Hydrogen has the benefit of inflation control, where as electricity does not. They can hardly charge different rates. Of taxes for different usage unless I'm missing something. Flexible movement of tax is essential.

Is this thread still going FFS...... Perhaps individuals are working on a rebate from the Labour Party for campaigning costs.... bloody socialist... all that matters is they want to fk things up better than tories can. IMHO.
