Seriously people here can’t still be believing tilapia is going to happen 30 months on after announcing it! that is the ultimate in mindless optimism! It was a last chance saloon shot by AC on a license that was just about to expire, after the shambolic humiliation in Azer..Even if by some miracle it does come through the terms will be so heavy now it will probably be debatable as to whether or not it’s worth taking on.

He’s always JUST about to do a lot of stuff Florida. How about actually doing this stuff without constant caveats

Same old play book here, when will people ever learn here? zen constantly taking options and making promises on licences that are at best complicated at worst impossible to get over the line. Tilapia 27months and counting oil at over €100. Ask yourself who in their right mind would let someone have that tilapia license without charging an enormous license fee, and large revenue share ? Then for good measure add in the fact it’s Africa!

Mis you’re absolutely right to think about this share the way you do, don’t worry about the echo chamber element here. 22 months today since the announcement of aaog/ tilapia purchase and the share price down 65% since then. Dealing in Africa comes with a major health warning and nearly 2 years with no license being approved should leave any logical mind realising the chance of tilapia actually getting over the line have shrunk considerably. The market loved and bought in to the azer opportunity big time, AC completely ballsed it up big time either in his initial DD, over promising in his communication or lack of competence in the field. He then tried to save his reputation by desperately charging around Africa trying to make things happen but as always there’s more questions than answers with zen and the market doesn’t believe and the share price doesn’t lie.

Mgs you say the company’s performance is stellar since jan 2020, yet the share price is down 60% since jan 2020. Dread to think how far this will fall when the performance comes off these stellar performance levels !!

No I grasp the fact that a few people happen to be up here, what you seem to be incapable of grasping outside of your totally selfish it’s all about me bubble is that virtually everyone who ever invested here on all the dozens of false promises/dawns and outright porkies are down and down in a big way! We were told less than 18 months ago that our AZ asset alone should have us at 20p. What a load of waffle! The market knows it and it’s why it doesn’t believe anything that’s announced and the sp is where it is I.e 70% down from when they announced tilapia purchase.

Florida more like you must not forget the share price is down 70% since they announced were buying tilapia last year and the share price was 2.6p...You say tomato I say tomato

Florida you wonder how many workovers will be completed in the next 3 months. I can 100% guarantee you the answer to that is zero, none, zilch, nil ...this company do not drill or workover anything!!

Florida I can explain that phenomena through the current share price ipso facto market sentiment towards zen...they just don’t believe everything zen say in their rns’s . Too much previous where they’ve been at best economical with the truth in their rns’s and at worst flat out disingenuous! That behaviour carries a cost down the line as is being reflected in the share price now .

The zardab, jafarli and Muradkhanli licenses in azer will be the best and biggest licenses zen could ever get , they had an apparent npv of $800m. Even 18 months ago AC was saying the share price should be 20p just for having those licenses.. that is why the market is asleep to zen currrently. They’ve heard all the flannel before and plenty!!
On a wider point there is a reason these licenses are given away free or for peanuts all over the world to hundreds of wannabe micro oil and gas companies like zen, and that is because they are invariably bloody hard if not impossible to make a success of commercially ! if a deal seems to good to be true it means it probably is. Nobody gives you something for a lot less than it’s worth they sell it for what it’s worth or as close to as possible

Florida for someone who reads posts properly and constructs sensible arguments, for you to say in your last post that if you have patience to wait as long as it takes you will ALWAYS reap the rewards is complete nonsense and you know it...tell that to all the investors at Sirius minerals and thousands or other companies who promise the world and then destroy shareholder value...and definitely don’t think it’s impossible for it to happen to an inconsequential tiny 1 man company like this

For someone who at least reads posts properly and constructs decent arguments, to say if you have endless patience you ALWAYS reap the rewards is just complete and utter nonsense and you know it ....tell that to shareholders at sirius minerals and thousands of other companies who promise the world, destroy shareholder value and go pop ...and definitely don’t assume it’s impossible for it to happen to this tiny 1 man operation

A successful drilling operation to produce a decent amount of oil !!! For all the funds they’ve spent on drilling rigs and all the promises they’ve made on drilling, the sum of their drilling efforts is one failed well in 4/5 years , and the market have zero faith in their ability to succeed. Until they do that all these clever deals that always need to get another chain of bureaucracy to approve will count for very little in meaningful share price movement. This is the most significant reason the share price is down 60% since Jan last year. And no I think there is no chance a drill bit will hit the dirt in 2021 . Good luck
