George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Net assets of £18bn, profits each year in the billions. what's not to like folks? Every company has debt but with carnival the profit margins are easily enough to cover the interest payments.
Also, Remember their main customer will get the vaccine first. Folk will be booking now for next summer so cash will be coming in.
No idea why people would sell this now. it's got £20+sp written all over it.
I'm a big fan of the brand and can't believe my luck with the current sp.
I'll continue to buy into next year as for me Ted is the best stock on the market looking ahead 3-5 years, especially if online sales continue to grow.
Glad the herd isn't here either... long may the peace and quiet continue.
Further to our announcement on 22 June 2020, Amigo has yesterday entered into an amended Voluntary Requirement ('VReq') with the Financial Conduct Authority (the 'FCA'). Under the terms of the amended VReq, the Company has agreed to reach a position by 30 October 2020 where all complaints are dealt with appropriately within eight weeks.
Not sure this warrants an RNS this morning. Maybe Monday once they've settled everything thats 8 weeks and older.
Not point rushing one out to keep the impatient happy
The FB advert started popping up on mine after I went on to the amigo website. Reading the comments it's full of people who don't seem to understand how much interest they would be paying over x years etc. All of these claims should be rejected so I'm not còncerned.
There will always be people out there with poor credit who need access to funds. JB set up this baby for that reason and with Christmas around the corner folk have 2 options. Let their kids down and tell them Santa's not coming or get an amigo loan and put some presents under the tree.
This is will work out well for everyone, us the investor and young Keith who wants a puppy.
Hounddog you must laugh your head off when you're writing these posts and reading the responses. My bet is that you're actually long and just here to have some fun whilst making money. There can't be anyone stupid enough to be shorting amigo at this sp, surely...
itsallafugazi, i think you're refreshing the price far too often. Remember, the stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient... so when you leave at 12p someone will happily buy those and wait. The quieter this board gets the better, leaving just the long-term holders to reap the rewards while you move on to?...
It's funny how just a few red days creates all this doom and gloom. Remind yourself of the fundamentals and why you invested... it certainly wasn't for 20%. Then sit tight and await the return to lending RNS. Stay safe
Net asset value per share should hit 40p easy this FY, definitely if we restart lending in Q2.
The complaint provision in Q1 was small in comparison to last FY so I'll assume the board think they have it nearly covered.
The SP has been up to 30p in the last few months so we have to make money from here, surely?!
Hounddog, I invested here based on the fundamentals of the business. You can't argue with the balance sheet and profit margin. With the complaints provision in the past any muppet could turn a profit. I like the business model, the potential to expand the customer base too. We all should make our money here, I just hope we're all patient enough to realise it.
Hounddog, why have all these people in the know been buying shares this summer then if it's going bump? The CFO will know if this is a going concern or not, even if JBs thinks he's useless. We're all buying, not selling
The market likes it, so i suppose that'll do for me. I've learnt to expect the unexpected with this stock so who knows what's next. Whoever's in control needs to start lending again v.soon... who wouldn't want an Amigo loan to do up their house with a government grant to net off the interest rate. Complaints provision in last years accounts so there's a clear path to profit once the JB saga is over.
Do you think that JB could have lost and Glen also disagrees with the BoD... Poor bloke couldn't win. What happens if he start offloading his stock too? I've been invested here since June and regularly keep up with this board, most of what's posted is nonsense but still interesting all the same. .. thanks for the entertainment.
