RE: Q&A5 Feb 2024 09:36
Any price sensitive information must be RNSd as soon as it's known.
This includes any change in status of announced activity.
As we have had no RNS’s updates it means the status has not changed.
That is, despite what some would like us to believe, the Calvalley deal, the bank financing, the GDSA re working etc etc. ARE all still progressing as we have been told. (admittedly at a glacial pace).
Sound can not and will not announce any price sensitive information at a shareholder presentation which by it’s very nature does not inform all shareholders at the same time. (many don’t attend).
Logic would imply that after the long silence since the end of the year Sound would not break their silence unless they had something significant to say.
Personally I liked the reference to ‘potential investors’ in the RNS.
Consequently I think we will receive one or more significant RNS between now and the 15th.
Do I know what will be released? No. the simplest answer would be ‘the news we’re waiting for’, Calvalley, Bank, GSA, FID etc.
I guess it could be a sale, but I would imagine any approach would need to be RNSd as it happened.
So, my assumption is one or more or all of the things we are waiting on a very very close and will be announced as soon as the ink is dry on the documents. Think like when you buy a house, you get told say on Monday you will exchange Wednesday, but until it happens it isn’t official.
