Eric, to be fair I don't think Sound was ever 'really worth' £1billion.
Sure, the Market Cap was £1 billion or so, but that was excessive for what it had and the potential. Which is probably why JP et al. started selling.
But, today’s £13 million Market Cap is also way out of line with what Sound is ‘really worth’.
Sooner or later we’ll get the news we are waiting on (Calvalley, GSA, Bank funding, FID, phase 1 gas flowing, exploration wells, increased Gas in Place etc etc.) and then the Market Cap and hence SP will revert to nearer (or beyond) what Sound is ‘really worth’.
That for me is the play here. If all of the above happens who can really argue (sensibly) against a Market Cap of £250 million (or more)?
