I really feel that there are a lot of people here, that have no idea how the rag trade works.
I have a little experience in this field, & I can assure you, a lot of these suppliers don't always have a lot of workers in a workplace to audit.
Clothes are dropped off at workers own houses 500/1000 pieces at a time, to do necessary detail work, (i.e. stitching etc etc), at piecemeal work rates, this is where the £3 a hour comes in.
How do you think Boohoo can retail a £10 dress???????
These kinds of practices have been in place for years & years in this business.
Its all "Un-Auditable in many ways"
Wake up people!!!!, the press won't drop this anytime soon, they are like a dog with a bone, & as the British love to do, try & topple a leader/winner
As good as Boo are as a business, being built on these foundations, is very dangerous

its nothing to do with pants around ankles Slipperz. its about a business decision, just like the MM's that don't give a monkeys F**k about us small PI's.
The downside is a loss of around 10p a share , because boohoo put the market at ease & we are back at £3 on Tuesday open.
The upside is , more weekend bad news, or Boohoo drag their heels on putting this news to bed & the price drops another 50/60p.
Its just a business decision my friend, don't be so emotional

Correct me if I'm wrong, But Boohoo's whole business model is built on the back of these supposed slave wages being paid in the supply chain.
Whether Boohoo knowingly did or didn't do business with these factories with this knowledge isn't the issue surely.
The simple fact is the expected fantastic Sept results from Boo, are because of the slave labour wages in the chain.
The price surely just gets passed on, enabling boo to sell the £10 dress for example.
How is this sustainable ???, other than the in-house Leicester manufacturing by Boo.
This has longer to run I fear. & for that reason, came out at £2.91 today.

I was in Cine in the 90s & then out of pure luck back out in the low 90s. phew!!!!!1
Back in, in the mid 60s, thinking there s a 40p markup coming.
Watched it travel down to the low 30s, averaging down & down to stand today at 48.37
Its been interesting, hence my roll of the eyes, & conspiracist type demeanour.........

I've never know another stock suffer the kind of market manipulation that Cine has the last few months, even when were at £1 a few months ago for no apparent reason, it was all manipulated that way, to lock in a lot of unfortunate PI's
