so much for diversifying , I've just come out of everything & all in to Cine @59.86, this is a joke!!!!!!!!!!!! took my ave up yet more . but, this has turn around the three reds in my portfolio in a day

Well I'm still averaging up, standing at average 51.49p now....(made a change from ave down for so long)...when I first started buying Cine in May, I never thought id hold this many shares............Crikey

I got shook out of Boo on Friday, willingly , not buy a stop, I don't use them, it just felt risky.
So being heavy (for me) in Cine
Fancied NEX, to split my boo money, having done a lot of reading etc, always good to hear another experienced opinion , so thanks for that brother

I've been looking at Nex @purchaseatthetop, whats your thoughts there, if you don't mind me asking, I noticed that their BB is very quiet , or ours here at Cine is very busy

I'm not deramping, & ill tell you why.
What is better???
1, Buy in, at say £2.40 knowing its dropped more due to the bad press etc & have that hanging over you as an investor
or
2, Buy in at £3.10/20 knowing Boo have overcome & put the troubles to be, riding the wave to £4+
I'd take the latter please

you can tarnish me with that brush if you like, its not how I feel........Tuesday am , this may well go £310-£320 quite easily.........And I certainly know how anxiety feels, being in Cine since May, & don't wish that on anyone

absolutely true Brocksford, but I'm hazarding a guess that 70% of investors here, are here for the £4 results day share price.......Absolutely mid-term should be a very good bet

to be honest, I'm not sure where I am on this one at the minute.........im not trying to de-ramp, nobody on here makes a jot of difference to the share price.
Ive only four or five 3k investments , in various stocks, so very small fry in the scheme of things, I'm just trying to bring some perspective on how this may play out.
Its certainly an intriguing one & slightly worrying how the media smell blood

They have to push this right to the front of the agenda......."We will manufacture ourselves in our new in-house studios"
Its the only play Boohoo have at the moment

If the Bod don't come out before Tuesday & fire fight back, this is going to snowball out of control, but then if they do come out fighting, its drawing even more attention to the issue.........This is getting interesting
My guts telling me I feel a sell off come Tuesday am.

Whether that forces boohoo to manufacture abroad, Turkey & Morocco has been mentioned, also remains t be seen.
But then we've have Nike & Primark to name but two, getting bad press for the slave wages paid to manufacture their clothing in the past.
It only takes one Star name to walk away from Boo, & it'll be like a house of cards
One things for sure, its going to be interesting watching how this particular one plays out.

Its absolutely nothing to do with whether Boohoo have done anything wrong or not.
Whether they knew or not is isn't the point
The fact is Boohoo's business model is high fashion at £10 a dress for example, that price point is built on slave style wages.

Yes, absolutely they need to manufacture themselves in a old car showroom in Leicester, its the only way out of this mess.
Now whether that enables them to keep those type of price points for their clothing by in-house manufacturing remains to be seen
