There's a problem with being an long time believer in this.14 Mar 2024 01:01
One has to ask what, exactly, put the share in this position? as with all shares, the path travelled to the current siutaiton, whatever it is, can be seen to be dependent on several stages along the way.
i've no understanding of all the intricacies of how this share got here but, while it's obvious that buying on the drops is the way to make money, that's only true if it's going to recover. little point in having a lower average if the ultimate situation is to have a lower price still?
there's a presumption that, given just a few months the sp will blossom again. as i said, i know nothing of this share but am in a similar share in CRTM. it has similar problems but consolidated into 3 years. IPO'd a 5p and last year boomed to over 32 on potential. everyone piled in because it was the 'cancer cure' of copper mining. since then, several rns' have been released and none of them have proved to deliver the 60p targets all the 'knowing' people who've been in this since the beginning. late arrivals are now 80% down on their lottery buys and the sp is now sitting back at IPO price. people are scratching their heads and the general consensus is that it'll get back to its 160p targets, as long as it gets the funding to get it to rebeneue creation. but the market just ain't buying it atm. 12monrha since the promise of revenue and, cycnically, all i can see is a ceo who has built himself into a one-man band who holds all the cards while we retailers all have to hope funding will save the day, primarily because theres absolutely no market for the shares so we can't sell in volume without trashing the sp to the floor. yet it needs finances and who's going to supply i at current price. same stories about funding by retailers to save the day but, what if the day sin't going to be saved because the current price opens up other 'opportunities' for insiders to benefit, in spite of retailers?
not doubt, if the sp falls further then there'll be a new brand of casino investors who'll pump 'the future' and, if that happens, you'll be hostage to fake rises and falls while you all sit around wondering when the forced moves settle to a real future.
horrible position to be in so i hope that financing resolves itself to at least give some guarrantees on the near future and some better options!
