Possibly... but i don't see anyone apologising for saying the reason for the early issue of placing shares was because the acquisition was just around the corner?

just saying that, in spite of the repeat promise that investors here keep re-posting, the shae is performing badly, historically and that even the herd jumping on it a couple of weeks back didn't do much for the sp.

the downward pressure comes from too many pi's relative to the major sellers (for whatever reason).

can't help feeling if these holders felt there was a bagging in the offing in the near term they'd be holding? so maybe all the positives are telescoping into later in 2024.

not a problem if it's the only share in the pf but dead money if trying to grow it with other options.

first bit of good news and they'll (and me, probably) be back but, until then, pi's get bored and.or panicked by lack of progress.

and it seems that the 'maybe' acquisition is now quietly being translated into just general funding for progress!

but i agree, i think most who thought that the rush into the share from 0.74 and now thinking about moving elsewhere. be interesting to see where the sp is by July if there's no news to bump he prospects.

If there's a placing coming i doubt they'd wait for the price to drop on this announcement so, on the basis sp is sitting mid 11s from 16 i can see a dilutive placing at around this price, having been agreed when sp was nearer 16. even a 30% discount would seem harsh, considering what asset they have.

and, if it's non-dilutive the... goodbye 20p.

True enough. i'm not aware of any drilling results yet... just the XRT on-site testing which read ridiculously high %s for copper.

but, still, on the basis that most investors who got in over 20p must still have faith that the ore has rates that are significant.

agree without sales receipts one can't tell the value but, considering the share has been trading for 4 years since IPO and hit 32p last year...
