as everyone is happy to mention when the sp is rising, bod's 2p original buy in hasn't been reached again since feb 2022!

i don't understand the infighting going on here but, really, before anyone s******s about the sp elsewhere, it would be wise to think about what the sp average most holders here have only kept afloat by the notion that the interims will save the day!

while it might well be true, i don't see how the current situation allows posters here to be smug about other shares!

Don't know the volumes over September but that spike to 0.54 was engineered to get the majority of those placings sold into the market. the drop on the sp would have been a bit of retailer and ii's selling and pi's buying. but you can't keep an sp permanentlydown once the selling dires up.

while there might not be a long term future in WBI without some game changing news, there's nothing to stop the sp getting back over 0.4 as sentiment rules and most punters and lth will see it as an averaging down opp.

personally, i'd punt some at 0.32 and see if it spikes over 0.4. not sure i'd be waiting on the next news though...

Put the numbers out there, then Rabbit. and then state what you think will happen to the sp if the deal ends after 12months of anticipation!

Rabbit, instead of the sarcasm, have a go at explaining the logic behind the Semnet deal and why it was set up as it was. or would that be beyond you?

Anyone? none of us have a clue what a good price would be for it but, as a going conern, previous acquisitions are irrelevant.

2p... not 3p. even the most fanatical holders wouldn't believe 3p by November...

What is frustrating (and entirely the company's fault) is that, when we read the Semnet deal was concluding in shares we all assumed that the deferred payment in shares was because there'd be stellar news to push the sp up as far as 3p before November. company have had ample opportunity to pr the sh** out of the sp to push the sp much higher and, yet...

the closer we get to the deadline and the reverse belief takes hold, that the sp is being allowed to drop. otherwise, why not just add those shares to the last placing?

if you can argue your way out of that conundrum and STILL get to 'this will be done at 2p' then you should do pr for the company!

There are always those who just throw disastrous numbers about withou any thought... just always 50% below current sp. most traders'investors will see that 0.32 is where the buys (and therefore sells) are going through. only reason for the sp to drop further is if the vuying dries up but with 2million traded already... probably be all gone by monday close. then see what the sp does... there's at least 20% to be had, just to get back to y'days price, never mind the previous selling to bring the placing price down and then the forced spike to allow forward selling to take place. and that's without them with the additional £1mill in the bank too. put some good news into the mix and...

AND, if they're going to use the same mechanism to conclude (if they ever get there) the Easysend deal - we, none of us, have a clue what the 60% stake is worth, nor why 60%! - but, if they are holding onto the cash or if they don't hve it in the bank without emptying it, then the same goes for Easysend owner. he'll want the shares as cheap as posssible and a forced drop would make him v happy as he'll get an instant profit on the bounce, assuming there is one.

the issue just isn't as guaranteed as everyone thinks it is and all the bluster about the sp being worth many, many multiples is empty rhetoric. the company can be bought into at any time if you believe this is heading for 5p as it's surely going to take longer a month to get there so plenty of time to hop onboard. at least, judging by just how long each transaction takes!

Bfd, the treasury shares are irrelevant to settling the Semnet el. the issue is at what price they will be handed over to Semnet. Semnet sellers will want them as chep as possiblle and it looks like GST might have a n agreed price they're not telling. otherwise, why wait until November?

either they expect the sp to jump up or they want the sp to drop. regardless, now they have the resolution to print more shares we'll have to see where the sp is going to go in time for the settlement. and it is easily the oddest settlement to wait 12months to complete the deal, as it implies the sp is going to be manipulated.

why didn't they just place another £1million at the time of the last placing? was 1.05p too high a price or not high enough. with teh way the sp has been perfroming since April, one can't help suspecting the Semnet deal will close with the sp lower.

The sells are the subscription being sold into the market! there's no disguise... there's no need. everyone knows the sells are the 0.28p shares churning for profit!

They guarantee an easy profit for the subscribers and the discounted drop gets bought up by annoyed holders who figure the discount is worth averaging down on.

short term grief but funds are in the bank and everyone moves on....

what is going to push up the sp for the Semnet conclusion?

11months of 'discussions' about acquiring 60% of Easysend? wtf have you been talking about that takes this long?

do you have any interest in pinning the sp to any price or are you happy to see if move up and down to suit?

is Wellesley going to add more and become a significant holder or is he just a punter in his company who took advantage of a very low price?

Expecting the sp now to be well over 24p to make the open offer suddenly look very attractive.

And, not saying it'll be 'engineered', but the sp is going to need to be significantly higher than 24p to stop the retail offer being ignored. they have until the 7th October to make it look attractive.

Unless the shares were ALL forward sold (unfeasible, to say the least!) then this is still guaranteed at least 25p before anyone even thinks about taking profits or giving up with the placing shares.

a bit annoying for existing holders who bought in the 30s but it's come around again, soon enough!
