RE: The big question for the sp is...12 Oct 2024 14:27
Why would they state the price to be at 5 day vwap, though? why tie it to the sp? or, more pertinently, why let the sp slide up to that date? they could ver easily make pr statements, interviews or throw out an rns upding the potential future. the cost of an rns is nothing.
so, why allow the sp to fall? also, as Easysend is also due an update and, assuming it is worth more than all the previous acquisitions and having sought permisison to issue more shares, does it sound coincidental that everything is coming together at year end?
if Semnet is notially worth $1.8million, what will Easysen be worth, with its thousands of users, a UK licence and ready income boost? Several million? how much will be cash and how much shares? and, again, as with Semnet sellers, won't they want to see the price as low as possible, on the basis that it will significantly increase their profits the lower the price?
the point being, don't be surprised to see the price drop further. frankly, if i were Easysend, as was keen on the jv, i'd have bought some shares to dribble down the price daily or weekly. i don't think it'd be seen as illegal, though not morally right.
aso, why are we waiting of FCA permission? surely that also doesn't have to wait until end of November too? that announcement in advance of the final conclusion would os a lot to push up the sp so the vwap looks healthier.
until then, i'm still seeing an sp on the slide...
