the '3 day rule' isn't a law... and most folk who bought in and mention MFI actually know nothing about the brand nor exactly how little the plan is related to the old MFI.

i won't be at all susprised, though, to see that all the fuss about it will die down and that the company might even tailor their plan to reduce the costs of it, before integrating the homewares into their existing site. but they can't lose their prime asset to accommodate that plan...

when there's a realisation of how small the plan everntually becomes the sp will revert.

Billy, yes it is. i was paid to suggest that a fair price for the share is about 1.5p, based on taking out the peaks and troughs and the last placing.

so still a small way to go...

There's a world of difference between the 12% today and the 200% last December, from 1.25 to the infamous 3.6p.

noone would have taken a 1.9p placing if it didn't guarantee a minimum... 50% (?). noone pony's up £2mill without guarantee of that profit. so how did the share rise from 1.25ish and add 200% on... gossip?

I tend to disagree with that bit... placings don't just happen off the cuff, unless someone knows better? surely they take weeks to arrange and aren't the sort of thing that can be arranged just because a ramp takes place. sounds like 'cart before the horse'... i suspec that there was some paid ramping going on, though who would be responsible is moot.

but you don't pump a share up by 200% on just casual optimism!

I thought Semnet has still to satisfy financial history requirements? didn't someone post they needed 3 years of financial records?

It's not whether it'll bag or not, it's over what period of time and whether the cash can bag somewhere else before it bags here.

it's the speed of the bagging not the bagging itself. (and, frankly, considering the placing was at 1.9, sp should never have been allowed to drop this far in the first place... )
