the fact that £100k trades keep coming in but don't stop the slide suggests they're sells and responsible for the continuing drop, albeit, slowing down

You need to read it again, friend and stop making up what i said.

i said the contract was ALSO for the supply of servers, not just for services, so it was impossible to separate supply of the servers from a third party (as Semnet don't make serviers, i'm assuming!) and the actual cyber protection services they offer.

as such, and taking the previous accounts, which stated £2mill ish revenue and £200k pre tax profit, why would the company suddenly jump by1500% just because GST bought them out? also, has the company ever stated whether Semnet supply cyber services to GST before and, therefore, after? so do they count contracts to their own assets, as separate entities, as contracts?

admit it, when we have a few pi's talking about, collectively, about owning the same as the BoD, it's a concern... to me, anyway.

I can see two possibles: still ii's selling (and why) or there is some forward selling going on, which explains the buys not influencing the sp positively.

with all this crypto fluff, still not seeing why there isn't some serious investing going on by ii's or HNW's. and the only way i can see anyone meaninfully participating is on a placing... if it were at a premium, would be great. otherwise, are we going to need to see another ramp/trashed price for that to happen?

and none of the thousands/tens of thousands of posts have given the logic of why the BoD have never bothered adding, even when there were signficant shares sold into the market.

it would add volumes of confidence to the sp to see they adding 100million to their holding and would cost, relatively, buttons.

I would have thought your 'metrics' don't account for potential news, good or bad.

with the funds they're going to use, you can't say they'll be fundraising. that would make sense, also, on the ii selling we saw y'day.

Seeing how proactive Bake are, would have been happier to see them buy GST! good to see some movement somewhere... shame noone can see the same kind of profile for the other assets. they're totally invisible, whatever reason you want to state!

First, the sp was trading higher just before results, in expectation of good news. which there was... goodish. but was overbought in the week up to results.

then stating that they were to spend £millions this year without notifiable revenue wasn't great. the profits weren't so big as to cope will £xmillion taken out from future revenue in setting up a new company, in effect, from scratch. even if an online only, it's a crowded market so no idea why now?

i can see thee being value in a trashed sp but atm, there's no herd interest. even the £10k repeat buyer has stopped. it's sitting on 80p, like y'day, when it plateau'd and then dropped... twice. might not do the same again... but might.

You just ramp pointlessly, because you chase shares that dip 25% without looking at the reasons.

it could well take another flash drop to get the buyers in for a day trade. but the sp is hovering on 80 now, with both buys and sells indistinguishable!

now depends on whether there's an interested party wants to dip the price lower for a good entry.

but i would agree there's a degree of manipulation going on now.

plus, you didn't say 77p. whether that's the bid or offer is another consideration.

having delivered well for several years it was an oddity to talk about MFI. while i get the idea of expansion, the fact that homebase just died and that the retail market now has wickes, dunelm, lakeland, B&M and homebargains, never mind Tesco, M&S, Asda and Sainsburys, it's a crowded market to want to get into.

Just repeating 3 lines of ramp doesn't make it so!

If it were just the results on their own then the sp would probably be at 110-120. it's the fact they talked bout expenditure for next 24month of £several million without being able to calculate revenue that is the concern. yes, it's true that a few weeks and it'll be forgotten, for the main part, as buyers will calculate that they can get out before next year's results.

BUT company would see 30% bump if they just said they were scaling back the homewares plan OR got rid of talking about MFI as that has unpleasant overtones and just not appropriate to current market. a bit like saying they were going to resurrect Woolworths (i know it still exists) . the brand name has no cache...

Not so much for lthers who've been here from 6s but, for new investors, they'll be looking for a meaningful drop to insulate them from a period of no news.

no point just saying 'it'll rerate'... if you really held for the past year then you, no doubt thought it very unlikely for the sp to hit 90? so 80 was never foreseen... looking at how it moved y'day i CAN easily imagine it slip under 80. the spread here and the fake advertised spread just means that, while some might get pulled into buying in 90s the selling price would likely still be well below that (and i just don't see 90s here for a while... certainly longer than 3 days, unless some other news drops that makes the plan look less damaging to next year.

Never say never. the same thing was said y'day when the price hovered at 90... then 85... now 81.

but all i really saw was another herd trade opp, based on a linkedin Semnet odd advert touting for business? as if linkedin is the go-to to get £multi-million deals going.

most companies who need it will already have it so Semnet is looking to take business from others. i assume the b2b takes more than a linkedinpost to get the business and i also think it takes months to persuade new biz to migrate to them.

but, never look a gift horse... still a long way off from update and still doubt that semnet will contribute genuine revenue out of line with their pre-takeover accounts.

spread makes selling look like a loss for most buys so keeps new buyers onside.

all just imo... but it DOES show that sp is rarely allied to the actual state of the company so, upside, i daresay, to be had. but still from what support?
