They pretty much stated Megrez would have been a bonus and can't explain why all the indictors were positive but, moving on, nothing else has changed and the company continues with its targets as before.

suspect folk will try and drag the sp down, but, of course, only to load up cheaply, in time for the turn up. whether they get the chance tomorrow is anyone's guess. but i can also see that ther'es going to be a period of doldrums until such time as someone, somewhere, decides it's too cheap for what the future could bring.

whether that's tomorrow morning or afternoon or next day or next... but i can see the drop from the spike is overdone. quite where it goes to in time is up for debate but i DO know that if it starts rising then more than a few, including bashers, will try and get a chunk, for day trading or to hold... but they'll be buying.

Would have thought the investormeet podcast was the perfect time for you to voice your concerns with your pertinent questions?

Amateur investors always think if they're losing it's because there are 'crooks ahoy!'. if the clues suggest drilling and it doesn't quite work out it's because finding stuff under the ground is bloody hard! there's a reason most drills fail and it's not because of 'backhanders' or 'crooks ahoy', just the average for the industry.

you can possibly blame a company for painting a rosier pic than they should but what company ever posts' this might not come good but it might' and get the backing for their works!

Seeing the same horse doodoo names on the dropped shares, all spouting nothing ramps about 'loading up' and all the other cliches...

the only point i WOULD make is the ytd low is 28 and, while that's nothing but a number, it's a good number to look at... (though i prefer 23 and then 25 on rampiness meter!)

It's just a fact that any share that drops more than 20% brings traders, regardless of the news or the reasons for the drop.

of course, most times, they're too late to the party and only 'enjoy' the second drop, after a small recovery then hope posts can somehow push the sp uphill, never mind, what the trades are actually doing!

with 18.36 having been printed this morning, it has an attraction but doesn't mean to say it'll fall that low. and, it's also the case that a 30% drop has a better chance of making money from a bounce than 20%... but i guess that applies more so to a 40% drop! eeeeek! : )

I'd think the drop this morning has defnitely spooked holders... end up selling as it's now pencilled in as the low. it is, after all the point of the drop, which was instigated without any trades?

but if you can't roll with the moves, however they're generated, then you're going to , short term, at least, suffer paper losses.

Might well be right... but, considering the sp has dropped 25% in a morning and 50% in the space of a week, the idea of 3 - 4 months is pretty much a lifetime in the grand scheme of things.

Which will make the sp moves interesting first thing, tomorrow.

Pretty much still sitting on 22 and difficult to know where the low is.

meanwhile, i suspect that, after the panic sells and trolling about placings to come, the buyers who picked up the cheapies will churn teh share if they think the sp has peaked so will see it wobbling around 22p until settled... then it'll slowly rise. to what level is moot...

Except... no company trades just actuals for a lot of forward guidance and, dare i say it, positivity! was the company ever worth 70p, just two months back? is it worth 40p from a month ago?

considering most trading goes on anticipation, not just of results but of investor hope/attitude, there's no reason why 25p+ won't be hit within the week... imo

As long as you can manipulate the sp down far enough.

even with the news it's had, there's a fair value of at least 25p but there's nothing to be gained by just letting it sit there so... push the price down to painful level and then watch the fall out... scoop up the cheap shares and sell at the top. atm, it looks like 22 but it'll be closer to 25 by either close today or tomorrow.

then everyone will wonder what the fuss was about and then folk start buying for the next news and trusting it'll be infinitely better.

sometimes, it's just a horrible game, rather than a straight forward play.
