how many BTC do you think they could buy with cash atm? just punt a guesstimate? 10? 20? 50? 1?

AS, they could have very easily just bought the BTC and released that news today. the Tresury policy doesn't need an EGM to vote on so why didn't they just buy them and announce how many?

is it because we'd then have a clue about how much was in the bank? or are they planning a placing to fund it?

there's news and then there's lack of news, which is par for the course, here.

Just have to wait and see when the TR1s come in for the BoD adding... that's what it'll take to get this moving again.

Leew, i can say 'how' but if i don't tell you the extent of my intent then what does it mean?

they're basically not saying anything about their revenue so we don't know what the state of the company is, generally.

if they'd bought and put a number on it (hey, they can use their own platform to hold it!) then we'd know what cash is around... but they haven't... yet. so we still don't know what's in the coffers... the mystery continues. so they either announce their purchase...tomorrow or they leave it to the surprise party of the update... held hostage to fortune/misfortune.

But you don't know how many BTC they will buy, nor how they will fund it... are 10 BTC enough to make the sp rise? or will they need 100? will they buy ETH?

that's not concise... that's vague... like 'as expected'!

Saying 5p was just to ramp it to get a better out... no better nor worse than talking about 10p, 25p, £2.50... just shorter term... and market disagreed.

the fact that there was unbridled joy here on this rns shows i'm not alone in wanting more info that they issue. it's just not hard to throw info out that doesn't require rns' and they definitely need someone to rewrite their rns' with better than bland statements like 'working as expected...

i'm afraid the fact that the rise is disappearing says what everyone thinks about the news.

Ridiculous comment. about spread. if they need to place then they need to give them a guaranteed profit. the spike wasn't enough to get rid and they didn't put any meat on the bones... so the place would (if it's going to happen) will be at a probably hard price to stomach. you can't sell 1.3p shares at a profit here!

if they'd had the sense, they'd have bought BTC with whatever money they had, to prove their intent... see the sp rise much higher, raise at 1.5 to give them their profit and then everyone would be happy.

saying 'we're going to...' is weak.

Most people momentum trade because there's not enough infomration for 11months and 3 weeks of the year to have the confidence to hold... most lthers are in the red and waiting for a recovery.

todays news was a month too late and didn't really say anything, beyond 'we're going to buy bitcoin'. but where were the details... in fact, why didn't they add that they'd bought BTC or ETH or announce a plan to widen access to their own crypto and use that as part of the treasury? the missing details are what killed the rise (i suspect it won't do much more than this, now). concern now is that nothing more is said OR they raise at... 1p??? to buy the BTC.

What's more hilarious is the absolute sense of relief from lthers who finally get some positive news that they know will take the sp back to and then over the last placing.

Absolutely... but do you see them suddenly becoming press-friendly?

The sp has been hollowed out from poor comms so it'll be good to see it bounce harder than it should... and if they decided to bring forward the next update, that'd be preferable too... and then just start cranking up the snippets that prove this is alive and well...
