I hope they buy in the coming days (or even see an rns in the morning) but my fear is they won't until after the update as it'll show their hand as far as how much cash they actually have... alternately, if they don't buy more than 10 then, as they're not exactly giving as far as info is concerned, we'll be left wondering if that's all they had in the coffers, barring a bit for emergencies?

i can't see them placing for it at such a distressed price and they've never exactly looked like a company who could get premium funding out but, if they can hook some HNWI's for a couple of £mill and buy 20 then at least it'll put a floor on the sp.

you have to say, though, for a company supposedly steeped in crypto they have shown very few moves to make the case for them having a creative vision... more like a workmanlike effort with few shortcuts to becoming a player in the market.

maybe it's different in hong kong, but none of them are names in this area... in fact, hosp has a bigger rep than they do and i suspect that more to do with what he had rather than what he has...

If that's meant to be a comment for me, then you're mistaking showing you companies who say they'll buy and then buy for ramps and crossramps! i don't try to get anyone to join any other share... i have a telegram group for sharing.

You're missing the point... when people bang on about how 'they're making money' and then look at the cash reserves it's seen as proof they're making money on their pillars... but it would seem it's impossible to differentiate between profit (which were marginal in the last results) as opposed to revenue as opposed to placings.

the test now will be what the profit is from these pillars... no point in massive revenue if incoming is matched by outgoings... personally, i suspect... i don't even know what the next update will show, if there are some assets that have been reworked, integration costs, bake not on the books yet, etc.

funny thing about silence... leads optimists to be optimistic and pessimists....

then the sp is the barometer, even if it's horribly wrong, as far as sentiment goes. so we either multibag or curse ourselves for believing!

someone y'day said 'they never do placings for working capital'... that one was for upgrading GSMoney (and that line i mentioned).

as their acquisitions rarely have a price tag, it's easy for them to perpetually have leftovers that are then counted as 'cash reserves' that, if you've a mind to, can be described as 'earned' but with little evidence to show it.

But they also raised £1.25mill in april '24 , for the supposed acquisition of Bonfirepay that never happened!

I don't think what anyone maintains matters. short term or long term, it's the sp that needs to be maintained and until the company say they're doing well...

No, except it spiked traders and everyone else and is now down at 1.20 instead of 2.50 and we're waiting to see if y'days rns will be acted on and when, if at all or does it fall all the way back down to 1.10 again!

The sp...and its progress...

it doesn't matter what the story is if there are people choosing to sell... it's a contradicition but it's not a contradicition here... it's why you get ramps and trolls, to accentuate the movement.

is the story so different from y'day yet it fell 20% this morning.

don't disagree with anything being said but you either decide to try and take advantage of the moves or you're in it for the long term... but trading doesn't mean you can also be in it as an lth... you just take occasional holidays when the trades influence the sp.

I take it that's a comment to me? if you want to explain why you wouldn't take advantage of 0.38 to 05+ in 24hours, if that happens, i'd be interested to hear the argument

It's no good saying something pious about 'them' not understanding. there are many folk here who have been in and out of this share a half dozen times in the last week... and probably making good on the trades. until there's some news that 'proves' the case, this'll just be subject to ramps about that future while selling on the ramps. it's what lse is for!

if this gets over 0.5 with a news release then there'll be more to come... it it gets there just on 'they don't get it' then some of those who are saying will be selling at the same time as posting '0.6 coming'...

you either play their game too or wait for the news.

all the companies that say they're buying crypto then go and buy crypto. i hope GST don't buy crypto in teh same way they bought Easysend and Bonfirepay, etc. if they don't buy it by next week then are they waiting for a dip???

Enki, you know as well as i do you can make the numbers say what you want if you select the right in-points. but i seriously doubt ANYONE who has the holding you posted didn't also buy much, much higher, thinking this was finally moving into the big league when it went over 3 on optmism and ramps.

once the results come out and set the price, whatever they say, if they keep silent, if bake and the other platforms don't show themselves as easy access platforms designed to sit on your phone and allow your neighbours to play the markets, if the Board don't show themselves to be more than just people only looking for an endgame where they sell and secure themselves new jobs in the buyout but leaving us stranded, if they don't prove to the markets that they're a big name in the crypto world then everyone will be holding for years to see a positive return.

No... a lot of trading but things like the clns really crushed the sp and put the fear of the company going like #MODE (if you weren't there, you wouldn't get what fear that put in crypto stocks!)

so had to do a lot of trading to make it back... but the silences are crushing and the pivots have been ... discouraging. 2 years of sandbox silence, 18months of Easysend silence... buys of unheard of companies for licences... exBoDs selling out but exisitng BoD not adding to their 2p average, even when the price was trashed... been a hard road for anyone who didn't just see the company during the clns...

It was a delayed trade... it would have moved the sp if it was live, according to lse... so a trade from y'day?

(and the delay in their treasury buying has cost them about £7k per btc over last week... imagine what we'd be saying about buying before the rise... are they going to be waiting for dips before buying?)

Leew. some of us have already been in this for 3 years.

personally, i still think it's depressing that they don't have much of a presence in the markets, beyond bake (and that's a bought in presence from this year). if they stay so silent on their assets, their company, conferences, news then they do a disservice to what they're building. i don't particularly want to wait for 5 years to see this succeeding/failing without the proof being seen in a rising sp. the last couple of years have been disappointing. if the BoD bought in at 2p and the sp is still languishing at sub 1.3, with all that's been going on then something is apparent to the markets. and that's a big fail if it undervalues the company.

GST's whole existence is based on it! if you don't believe in crypto assets as the future then no point in investing in this... the question is whether the BoD look to be sufficiently in control to be seen as growing in stature to move from microcap to main player.

holders here who say they have a 5 0 10 year plan might well be right but all of us look to the evidence now, for proof that they are smart enough not just to build a successful company but to be seen to be building said company. at some point they're really going to need a marketing exec to put them out there... and if they can also do something inspired with their COAL before i die would be good, too!
