Have to say, Semnet, considering it's pretty much an internal purchase (if the wife is a co-owner, not as if they weren't all over it) it HAS been a shabby purchase, with placings, share creation to pay for the sale and a suspicious contract that seemed to be used as some kind of measure of its NASDAQ placing, has been a disappointing acquisition.

whatever the arbitration brings (probably tied up with nda's) i don't see how the IPO can go forward without Semnet proving itself as a powerhouse cyber company and the current situation doesn't seem credible.

... because they announced their 8 bitcoins in September. why bother at all announcing any rns' relating to bitoin holdings if they're not going to keep investors updated?

they raised the funds on our dilution... they even offered retailers 'the chance' to buy at 1.20. you'd think they'd have an obligation to give the price sensitive news about whether they're going to invest the further $1.2million or are they going to wait until they pay at a premium again?

it really is extraordinary that a company which now has a platform with crypto assets they can't use the info gleaned from them to work out th eoptimal time to buy and sell...

personally, i don't believe they have any deeper knowledge than us... the only advantage for me in buying is either on a flash crash (but we saw how that worked on the suspension price!) or on good news...

Estimated guidance on revenue is down about 8%... drop is double that... expect this to be back around 200 either eod or tomorrow...

Volume IS negligible but still not enough buys to counter the selling total that's presumably behind the drop.

might well be the tail end of the selling but still think there's a little to go (imo).

Most of the rises in the sp have been based on presumed benefits from several rns' that have, at best, proved to be less beneficial in the short term or completely bogus.

so many failed rns' that seemed to be fabulous and then weren't.

there have also been, with some digging, incongruities that we haven't been deemed worth announcing that have proved to be damaging without any explanaitons from BoD.

Anyone have info about when and how many and if they have recently been sold? PENsana holders suggesting Wood sold them recently after Saltend was killed off.

I suspect Semnet's accounts will show it's barely any different to the account shown before they acquired it: $2.2mill revenue, $0.25mill pre tax...

Tell me how much that contract is 'worth' to GST revenue... and i'll apologise if you honestly believe it's near $36million.

Also calls into question of the IPO as that number was conveniently used as a method to infer value of the company at IPO... seems ridiculously inflated now, until they can prove Semnet is a money-making machine...

so anyone want to hazard a guess as to how much of that $36mill is actual profit? no... because there are no numbers other than that contract figure. don't even know how many servers... nor their cost.

WHAT I SAID was they weren't manufacturing the servers and would only supply so had no idea how much of the $36million was supply of materials with a mark up... NOT 'woo hoo! we're making $36million revenue on cyber...' which is what the predominant argument of the day was...

the point being how much of the $36million was actually going to be income and profit? (suspiciously massaged the figures to inflate expectations.... of course, NOW, everyone talks as if that was always the case... which is pure bs!

AND i recall who were the main critics of my argument!

If you want to hedge your bets, sell half... if it drops you'll get more shares with the same money, if it rises you'll still get 50% of the rise...
