The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Cliche'd insult by others used to trash talk a poster... '10%'? most holders would give their eye teeth for a 10% rise, as opposed to the opposite.
see if there's further selling this morning or whether there's a recovery.
Jiffy, i'm pretty sure that if you spotted 5million in buys, unannounced, you'd be posting it and raving like a loon.
so just accept that it happened and learn to live with whatever the consequences, if any, are!
now, lets see what happens in the morning!
Trust they have somewhere better to put the shares...
So, you managed to change your tune in 3posts... is yours the £9.992 buy?!?!
Si that link meant to link to ZED?
Nm
Oh, ffs! we're sturggling to get back over 1p and you're talking about £1.
why not £10!
why not £1000!
get a grip... most folk here will probably sell if this gets to 2p.
???
Also, seriously doubt they're running to tory agenda to get 'good news' out in time for elections (also doubt this will move the voting public either way).
while i don't expect news specific to GST on stablecoins anytime soon i'll be surprised if EasySend doesn't come sooner. only trouble is, with the sp down at 0.95 i can't see it getting above 1.4 unless the financial environmnet is also sympathetic.
As soon as market can see that there volume plus international possibilities i fancy a good rerate. as long as manufacturing can be maintained, we'll then have near term volume and longer term regular revenue as back up.
won't give my target but it's higher than last 12months for a recovery price.
Apologies... i meant, of course, the very realistic £5billion mcap!
i doubt any posted conversations here are going to inluence the company decisions made over in hongkong or anywhere else!
more inteested in who'd be selling sub 1p and why!
While it's a possibility that the sp is being kept low, you'd be suggesting that either Semnet have some clout in forcing the drop or that the BoD are collaborating with Semnet sellers to give them more shares!
also, you're presuming that they must then also be keeping other news quiet as any positive news, like, for example, the 'myabe' accquisiton is also being held back to keep the sp down.
all these suppositions are based on retailer belief that the sp 'must' be worth more (evidence by the ridiculous £50b mcap headline!) so then that leads to conspiracy theories as the only explanation for the sub 1p price.
what if there's no conspiracy, though! something a bit mad when the only explanation is dirty dealings by the company that everyone's invested in!
🤞
Let's get to single digits first, eh! 🤣
I thought your quote might spark some discussion.
All very well saying that now, at 0.96 but i don't recall anyone except the more excessive trolls saying the price was going to be around this level (i think the trolls actually said 0.8ish or something but... )
atm, the trolls are more accurate!
Well, maybe that's why it struggles to get past 1p permanently!
As i just said, the acquisition could come in the next couple of weeks so, i'm waiting on that... but the fact that the placing was done at a 20% discount - when 'everyone' was saying they're coining it in - to the pre placing price (actually 25% to the 1.4 spike the day before) was quite a dirty trick, esp. not inviting pi's to participate.
don't recall the situation on the other placings but all i know is a placing that mentions the specific reason and invites pi's in is grudgingly more acceptable than mystery placees enjoying the benefit?
Jury's still out on if they'll deliver. they still might... just because they took '2 weeks and a day' last couple of times, doesn't mean it'll be like that now. but if it doesn't materialise in another couple of weeks...
(also, as a side not, i recall someone called splatted raving about the share 'bouncing' when is started sliding at about... 1.2? that was back in 2022... been a long two years of spikes and troughs. and i'm waiting for the next spike... is all.
Not a cross ramp... just found an example of how companies can acquire, fund and place to retailers' advantage, instead of just doing deals with... whoever.
never ever posted on that share... never owned it.
the acquisition really needs to come along as, if it doesn't then that means the placing 'will be principally used to accelerate the implementation of the Group's GS Money strategy' instead of 'potentially via further acquisitions.'
noone likes the word 'potentially'. that's a lot that still has to manifest into success. If all of them come good then everyone will be laughing... but the timeline for them is... ? There's no proof that they'll come good in time for results.
as for 'casting doubt with out BoD', the only reason the major pro-posters are here is because the BoD did an absolutely sh***y fundraise via clns. Don't recall why that was the preferred route to money but it murdered the sp. so, in reality, all the optimism comes from a trashed share price and a lucky opportunity that they decided to cancel the clns with another raise. if that hadn't happened, there'd be no real rise in the sp for 2 years.
Not saying they're bad and maybe their time has come with UK govt stablecoin moves... but don't paint them as geniuses: their average sp is 2p, ffs!
