At least Eric Anderson's shareholding won't have counted for much in the surrender to JPMAM's proposal to change to JEMA.
really...these strikes are politically motivated since the unions know the only way of replacing the Conservative government with the less than impressive Labour party is by ramping up strikes. Have a look at the facts: those of us who are not guaranteed cushy job for life rights, pensions, extended maternity leave (yup, that's the NHS ). Royal Mail workers get 100% of their pay for 6 months as sick pay. My local postie service has not worked properly since the start of the pandemic because they all smelt a liggers' scam and went for it. They couldn't give a monkey's about jobs and companies who are affected and expected to pay for all these lovely extras the private sector can't afford. Engineers in the RMT get paid more than the PM...how great do they think they are and why do they think the rest of us should pay for their greed.
any signs that they have acted on the "mandate" and started investing the ££ held in the seriously underwhelming and unrewarding JPM sterling account?
"oh jeseus christ Fenton" ....wake up and smell the NED.
Today is 25NOV...just posted a letter "guaranteed signed for etc", told by counter staff it wouldn't arrive before 5DEC or maybe 6DEC. ..and that's just for UK. Forget last posting dates for Christmas...not a chance of anything arriving before Christmas because of the backlog and local current "go slow" industrial action. The strikes are including Parcel Force staff. These strikes are going to kill off the business...there are other parcel delivery services and as for letter post...???
morning all, JEMA is up and running as a ticker on lse.
Please do keep up your activism there.
FYI: I sold out of JEMI because it was rubbish.
For all of those, like myself, who find themselves railroaded into investing in M-E, & A....please keep active in holding this abominable board to account. Eric Sanderson is unfit to be in charge of shareholders' interests.
Skynews.com.au report that COP 27 in Egypt has 45,000 attendees.......not bad $$$ for a country with tourism issues.
obvious question : is COP cleaner than FIFA when it comes to awarding venue status? oh my bad, the UN is above corruption ?!?!
since the start of the pandemic , our local posties have been MIA...taking the ****, I believe it is called.
If they, have to assume the more militant employees, would take VR and disappear ,we might get a delivery at least three times a week. Absolute shocker that any company who is trying to compete against international incomers should be held to ransom by selfish ignorance
so Royal Mail/IDS pay staff 6 months at 100% as sick pay, following 6 months 50%. No idea of how the system works nationally, but pour posties get one week off for every 5 worked, outside of their holiday entitlement...
2 comments, what the hell are they moaning about and second, if these are relics of nationalised industries with unionised collective bargaining...no wonder, coal, rail, etc. went to the wall and needed privatising. I write as a victim of London Underground Staff strikes...another protected, closed shop industry whose work force should be shown the cold light of reality ..ie: redundancy if you don't like the reality of what your job costs.
who is offering at 2.42?
thank-you....
what is the reckoning on proportion of retail to institutional investors?
trailing return 0.37%.
JPM charges 0.2%
is this the most sensible use of IT funds they could have come up with? the IT was hardly invested in AAA borrowers .
ii
Eric Fenton Sanderson is also a NED for BRGE...they are collecting votes for AGM at the moment (closes Dec 2nd)...am using ii and exercising my right to vote against his reappointment and recommend others do so.
slownsteady...tell HL it is an EGM not a corporate action..they do know how to register your vote. (I've done it..had to nag them a bit)
what I don't get is why CLIG or Lazards or any other large shareholder would deliberately vote to sell out the on the Russian share value now
