I’ll start. My portfolio consists of one stock (Orosur). My average is 6p. At the current price of 9.25p my portfolio is up 55% in the last 6 months.

If I had more than one stock, say five stocks, I would look at the overall gain. Makes sense? We’ll it does to me :)

Sein, your post is hogwash.

A fund manager will report the overall gain/loss on a portfolio over a specified time period.

They do not report on individual stock positions.

You say you have 70 positions. Are you seriously saying you have never co-mingled funds to cover losses elsewhere?

A more accurate indicator of your trading success would be to report the overall gain on your portfolio?

Sein, that is not the correct way to work out your average. As Legal says, your trading platform will do it for you. If I include my trading profit in OMI over the years, my average would be 2p odd! But I'm not going by that strange calculation to work out my average. I'm going by the figure the trading platform gives me. Any trading profits I made on OMI are long spent.

Break, there are no JV discussions imho. The rumour was probably started by a shareholder. Brad would never divulge such a thing. As to the share price, yes, its disappointing, but only if you're trading. Look at the share price on Feb 3rd one day before the drill RNS and look where the share price was one week later.

Johnstone did not comment on the late afternoon drop. Very out of character for him. I expect him/bhargav bought at the end of the days trading lol. That £10.5k fits the bill

Looking at the 6 month chart, we have been consolidating for 4 months in the 9-14p range. Perhaps the market needed time to digest the placings/warrants and the huge rise from 2.5p?

Looks like a technical double bottom test of 9p. We tested 14p twice as well

I’ve traded a few times on omi over the years by selling some stock and buying back cheaper. I don’t include the profit I made to work out my average. That’s cheating !

Legal, good point about averages. I bought close to 2m shares from 6p down to 2.5p but my overall average was still 6p having bought several hundred thousand shares in the 20’s,30’s and 40’s in the previous years.

I don’t know how Sein does it but he should write a book about it.

Like I said Sein, I’m not worried about a penny or two. The lower it goes, the more I buy. I bought millions below 6p and it worked out for me. Plus I’m a gambler lol. I live the thrill of it.

Rob, if you’re going to load up, I’d do it by tomorrow. Get a feeling we could have news next week, maybe as early as Tuesday. Bought another grands worth of stock.

No guarantees they’ve hit gold in pepas north but, reading between the lines, the omens look good. How good, we will have to see, but I did find the tweet this morning positive, indicating everything is going well.

I just added 9718 shares as well. Really scraping the barrel here but every little helps :)

Recent drill results have varied between 4 and 6 weeks and the last results were three weeks ago, so I would say a maximum of a 3 week wait.

But they could land any day. Better to stay invested throughout.

Looking back through their Orosur’s tweet history, the last time we had two weeks of radio silence, we got stellar drill results on the 4th of February.

Hopefully something similar transpires. Patience my friends.

Rob, it all depends on Pepas 2 delivering the goods. The channel sampling is looking good so there is something definitely going on there.

Pep2 could be similar to pep 1. If so, 20p+ should be easy.

But, if they find the plunge, and the source of this thing, it could get bonkers here!

My view is that if there is that much gold at surface, there’ll be a lot more deeper underground and at higher grade.

Just bought 34,902 shares before the close at 11.45p. Could have bought them a couple of days ago at 10.325p lol.

Not worried though by a penny here or there when this will be 20p+ in a few weeks time
