What's confusing is why we are seemingly trying to cut cots by piggy backing onto a rig, when day-rates are now lower than last year? This surely isn't necessary as the intended monies from the JV could cover the well costs beforehand, when costs were previously high. I've more questions than answers on the back of the prelims. The wait goes on...

Hopefully we aren't far off news now. Would like the sp to be north of .03 prior to news but taking some comfort we've only drifted a little during this period of radio silence. Let's see what next month brings

Good summary, Ed. It may be worth keeping an eye on Borr's website. If previous announcements are anything to go by, their Q3 presentation is due next week. With a bit of luck, this may shine some light on where the Vali rig is heading.

If it is TRP lined up for the Vali rig, it looks like serious commitment to a drilling programme with the duration and option stated in the latest fleet status report from Borr. Really hope this does come off, its been a long time coming.

Is time on our side or does JA’s bargaining power dwindle as each day passes? The closer to July we get, the more desperate we will be to get a deal sorted given the fixed timescales agreed for the rig

Nothing new here. Its the same old information regurgitated over and over again as a LTH. The information may be useful for new investors but action, not more words is needed. The rig contract was on the cusp of being signed months ago and still there is nothing but timescales being pushed. The only thing that can be relied upon on at the moment, is the organised monthly P&D for the 20% crew. For the umpteenth time, sort it out Jeremy.
