Results are highly encouraging from the horses mouth. 5th rig coming this month.

We had an excellent update from Newcrest on the 25th which sent the price to 2.1p+

Since then we've had a downtrend because of sentiment towards a placing.

Today that downtrend on the chart has finally been broken.

I have long though the market was wrong to sell off due to when a company like this raises several million pounds, it is often a GOOD thing. When a typical tinpot £3m market cap raises e.g. £500k to keep the lights on, this is usually a terrible thing and burns pi's and the money usually ends up in the directors trousers anyway. When a company like GGP that has huge potential, raises millions of pounds to 1. Accelerate their projects and 2. Have a large amount of capital to be in a position to negotiate a better deal if anyone makes a move to bid for the company, then within weeks the price usually responds significantly to the upside.

Here's hoping today is the start of that...

I'll be shocked if there is not a stonking great fat RNS this week. With all of the news due, we could get several this month alone.

This is being held down frequently by a market maker that won't make an offer. It discourages buying as many don't bother going to NT. You can see the same happening on PDL, it is traded on SETS. Every day they hold it down with tiny orders, trying to fill bigger ones on the bid. You can rarely buy more than £10k's worth but can sell way more.
Same with GGP, can sell 2m easily but can't even buy £3k. When news does come though, they will simply have to move it massive percentages as the big boys come in and put in market orders to buy at much higher prices.

Oilex have been waiting for literally years for this news. This could really run high this week.

Also way oversold down at 0.12 - Similar to how PDL is now.

This could double again this week.

There are a few risks but if you balance it out on what could come good here e.g.:

Fx working in our favour.
Inflation (highly likely imo and the gold market seems to agree) - If we continue getting low rates with countries competing with each other via currency devaluations, being in a company like this has astronomical upside. Diamond prices will naturally go up at the same time as all of that debt getting easier to pay with profit margins etc.

Havieron could have more gold value than their whole market cap, that's why.

With many comparing the gold price with similar problems of the 70's when gold went up over 2000%, the profit margin on these deposits could be beyond what most would dare to calculate without being labelled a ramper.

GGP have 30% of Haiveron along with some other very other attractive licenses. Market cap ex cash £50mn.

This will go up but it may not happen as quick as many of us would like. I am sure there are many sunny days ahead for the GGP share price...

Gold clearly in the beginning of a big bull market.

This will get mined up and the margins will be fat.

If the shorter who has gone down to 0.47% needs to buy 3.5m shares before results, he has around 7 days to do that.

He could buy 500,000 per day every day which would be around 60,000 per hour. It doesn't sound like much but I believe it will take it well into double figures before the results.

Free cash in this company is almost the entire market cap!

Bonds trading 100% of face. Either the shares are wrong or the bonds are. It is quite obvious which the bigger market is and who are the professionals! Hence another reason I believe we will bounce strongly given time.

Looks like it's forming a bottom on the chart.

I doubt it'll go below 8p and definitely doubt it will go below 6p. However it will likely go back Into double digits this week or next.

They can't hold it down here forever, though they may try.

There must be a good 20m shares short here. They will have to cover at one point and i'd expect many of them are in clear profit so won't hurt them to take it to 10-12p quite quickly.

Nope. The bottom has been found and we will have the next wave up before lunchtime.
Shorters will be bolting for cover this week and next.

They are very frequently right on this stock.

And yes, this could spike a 100% on no news it's so incredibly oversold. It seems these 'short attackers' and algo bots really can damage and cause huge volatility in quite a few of these larger AIM companies.

P.s. It is where for example someone transfers their shares into an ISA or SIPP.

The guy e.g. sells 5.4m shares at 1.7 and buys them straight back at 1.702.

The broker and market maker take about 50,000 shares for doing it.

Oh come on they're just rollovers. Add them up.

I'd just like to add that the 30th July RNS was excellent and inittially sent the share price up.

But in the following 2 weeks, the general stock markets around the world had the biggest and sharepest sell off this year.

Had that not had happened at that time, I think Petra would have had a run up quite a lot higher than 13p.

I agree that after results on 16th this should be north of 20p.

It was interesting why the person was putting hundreds of tiny offers in the book in the first place!? Hopefully they've been stopped from doing it.
