Stas20, the main point missed by gold001 is that there has to be. RNS when warrants are converted. That’s even if someone was stupid enough to convert them at a higher price than buying them.

Tax deadlines are the end of January and July. Every year it’s the same. Why anyone would panic sell now, to pay tax in six weeks time, I have no idea, but I expect someone will proffer some further lame theory.

Maybe some investors are watching US TV, where they are all shrieking about recession? Or how about the MMs trying a little tree shake to buy stock, or even more likely, scalpers talking their own book to make £50?

I don’t doubt that some placees sold their placing shares and kept the warrants, but nobody waits weeks, just to sell days before game-changing news.

You are correct. Placees have had ample opportunity to sell at higher levels. If you subscribe to placees bailing, why would they wait weeks to sell, when there is always another placing to take.

It’s a feeble argument, at best. All the placees I know, including myself, have bought.

Bladderman, that’s all we need. Gold001 keeps telling us it’s the placees who keep selling, but it’s the traders. All the placees I know have bought more, NOT sold.

Nothing wrong with trading, btw, but that’s all it is.

I bought PANR at 36p in early 2018 and held very patiently for almost 2 years. Boredom and something shiny somewhere saw me sell at a 10% loss, to buy something else that went down, thereby skilfully avoiding a four x.

Lesson learned.

I took the original ipo and bought steadily all the way down. I could have, and should have, sold the lot at 9-10p. I’ve always liked the Minto mine.

I’m not impressed with Gati “I was head honcho at Lukoil”, and three other directors being paid to look at projects and, eventually, invest £50k. It will be years of this until we have enough dividends to invest in anything meanwhile. PERE has turned into a lifestyle company.

Either sell the Minto shares and return a special dividend, or give me my Minto shares and I’ll be happy as a whatsname in doodah.
