No, neither do I, but they will definitely buy an asset.

If you have 800-900k shares in CAML, then you either have a very unbalanced PF, or it is balanced and you can easily afford to sit this out and wait for the inevitable rise

The drop was clearly a tree shake to take out stop losses. It was a buying opportunity, just like AGL was, after their results.

Nothing wrong with CAML. They have a cash pile. They are profitable. There will be other assets to buy, but they have proved that they won’t overpay for them. You still get a dividend. The sp will rise, just because of the share buyback.

What’s not to like? This is just the interim dividend, down by a few pence. Give them a chance to make it up to you, eh?

Hmmm. If you had bought this morning, you would be able to sell now and make the money you lost in the reduced dividend.

That’s BEFORE the share buyback.

Still a lot of recovery in the sp. Traders will be cashing in their 10% profit on the way up, but value investors will carry the day.
