Yes Ralph. That is integral to the business model. Think of it like cash back on a credit card, but they issue shares instead of cash.

Just like cash back credit cards, or Tesco Clubcard, where they give shopping vouchers, the firm giving the cash back makes far more than they give you back! Weshop could be used by tens of millions in the USA alone. Who doesn’t want something for nothing? You can even use it on every grocery shop. It costs you nothing and pays you back.

Peer to peer marketing will make this huge, as you get credits from personal introductions and also for recommending products or stores, when someone who has read your review has subsequently purchased.

Weshop has already partnered with some of the biggest retailers in the USA and the ones not already signed up will want their share of referred business.

The only people who can answer that are at Peel Hunt. My best guess is that they sought to smash the price down again today and pick them back up cheaply. Unfortunately for them, the appetite of the market has negated that.

I won’t feel sorry for them. They made their money and probably scared PIs off the pot. That’s what PH does.

I was invested in ARS for a long time, but sold on the basis that any mining takes a long time to sort itself out, and often it’s he last money in that makes the most profit. If you were astute enough to average down recently, you could be very happy wth this deal. I paid a little too much yesterday at 1.848p, but the sale price is a very significant premium to the current MCap, so what’s not to like?

Does any deal ever complete? Of course it does! Why would you doubt this one? And why would you stay invested if you doubt it? That makes no sense.

They have already mooted a special dividend, but you are free to doubt that also.

I can’t say I agree with that. They have already proven that they can monetise and make a decent return on capital by selling the asset. If they shut up shop when the money lands, what do you suggest they do with Beutong? Sell it in a raffle?
